出示若干卡通人物图片,引导学生进行描述,复习五官类词eyes, ears, mouth, nose,hair和描述体貌特征的形容词big, small, fat, thin, long, short, tall
3. Draw and say
教师在黑板上画自画像,教授人体部位词汇
1)画头部,邀请学生在图的两侧标注词汇eyes, ears, mouth, nose, hair,教学head.
2) 完成卡通自画像的身体和四肢,教学body, arm, leg, foot
3) 教师描述自画像:
T: Look, this is me. This is my head. I have … hair, eyes, ears, a … nose and a … mouth. This is
my body. I’m thin / fat. These are my arms. I have long arms. These are legs. I have long legs.
These are feet. I have big feet.
4) 引导学生用第三人称描述自画像
Ss: He / She has …
4. 出示一张猫咪和小鸟图片,引导学生比较两幅图片和教师自画像,找出明显不同之处,引出词汇tail, wing. 引导学生描述猫和小鸟的特点
S: A cat has a long tail. A bird has two wings.
5. 呈现一组有趣的人物或动物卡通画,学生自由选择自己喜欢的画像,两人一组,用第三人 3 称she / he / it 描述
C. Story time
1. 播放课文录音,学生听录音完成教材P28 Match and say.(提醒学生尽可能不看教材P26—27的课文,努力培养自己听的能力)
2. 师生问答,检测理解
T: What does Nancy have?
Ss: She has two fish.
T: What does Liu Tao have?
Ss: He has a rabbit.
3. 学生独立阅读课文,完成信息表格:

2.正确掌握have 和has的用法,总结七个人称代词及其它们后面所接动词的单复数形式。
3.能综合运用本单元所学的目标词汇和主要句型描述人物外貌
教学准备:多媒体、教学光盘
教学重难点:正确使用have,has 和can 进行描述
教学过程:

教师说身体部位的单词,学生手指或摆动相应的身体部位

C. Culture time
1. 引导学生仔细看图,复习、学习词汇panda, bald eagle, polar bears, kangaroo
2. 领读并引导学生理解句子:

You can see bald eagles in the US.
