七年级下册英语作文1-3单元作文牛津版

Unit 1: How do you study for a test?

As a seventh-grade student, studying for tests is an

important part of my academic life. In this unit, we learned

different study methods and strategies to help us prepare for

exams. Personally, I prefer using flashcards to review important

information and concepts. Flashcards are a great way to test my

memory and understanding of the material.

Another study method I find effective is creating study

guides. I organize my notes and class materials into a concise

and easy-to-read format. This helps me to focus on the most

important information and prevents me from feeling

overwhelmed by the amount of material I need to study. I also

like to teach the material to someone else, as teaching is a great

way to reinforce my own understanding of the subject.

Unit 2: I used to be afraid of the dark.

In this unit, we discussed how people's fears and phobias

can change over time. When I was younger, I used to be afraid of

the dark. I would always sleep with a nightlight on and would

have trouble falling asleep if the room was completely dark.

However, as I grew older, my fear of the dark gradually disappeared. Now, I have no problem sleeping in complete

darkness and actually find it more comfortable.

I think my fear of the dark subsided because I learned to

rationalize my fear and understand that there was nothing to be

afraid of. I also became more comfortable with being alone and

learned to enjoy the peace and quiet of a dark room.

Overcoming my fear of the dark has been a liberating experience,

and I am grateful for the growth and confidence it has brought

me.

Unit 3: Teenagers should be allowed to choose their own

clothes.

In this unit, we discussed the importance of allowing

teenagers to express themselves through their clothing choices. I

believe that teenagers should be allowed to choose their own

clothes, as it is an important form of self-expression and a way to

assert their independence. When teenagers are given the

freedom to choose their own clothing, they can develop their

own sense of style and identity.

However, I also understand the need for rules and guidelines

when it comes to dress codes in schools and other public

settings. It is important for teenagers to understand the

appropriate attire for different occasions and to respect the rules and expectations of their school or workplace. By striking a

balance between freedom and responsibility, teenagers can learn

to express themselves while still adhering to societal norms and

expectations.
