to succeed in an interview, the applicant

take

care to appear well but modestly dressed, avoiding the extremes of too

elaborate or too casual clothes. besides, he should pay closeattention

to his manner of speaking, which should be neither showy

nor familiar but

ratherstraightforward, granmatically accurate, and

friendly. in addition,

he should be prepared totalk knowledgeably about the

requirements of

the

position for which he is applying in relationto his own professional

英语四六级作文预测2:大学生花钱 Directions:For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a

composition entitledOn the Restraint of Spending. You should write at

least 150 words following theoutline given below:

1. 现在许多大学生花钱大手大脚;

2. 有人认为社会整体生活水平提高了,大学生花钱多一些无可厚非;

3. 我的观点。

On the Restraint of Spending

Many students spend money in a quite extravagant way. They see

things

they like and theymust have them, no matter how expensive: clothes,

jewelry, shoes, facials, hair and nails forgirls; clothes, watches,

shoes

and electronics for guys. It seems that many students reachuniversity

and

go a little wild with all the freedom after the stress of high school.

There are two differing opinions about this phenomenon. Some feel

that

it is fine for studentsto have a little fun; after all, they can only

enjoy

their lives in college, since after graduation, there will be nothing

but

work, work, and more work. Others, however, frown on theextravagance;

college is, they point out, the period when people form habits of

independentliving, since it is probably the first time that most

children

have been somewhat independentfrom parents.

In my opinion, we college students need to have some restraint in

our

spending habits. Mostof us are still financially dependent on parents,

but we are preparing for independence verysoon. If we get used to

spending

extravagantly now, the adjustment to adult life will beextremely

difficult. 英语四六级作文预测3:占座

words, and base yourcomposition on the outline (given in Chinese)

below:

Reserving a Seat

We often see there is a table cloth, a book or something else on the

desk in the classroom orlibrary, indicating the seat is taken. This

kind

of phenomenon is very usual in almost allcolleges and universities.

Strangely enough, most of students seem to take this for granted, and

few

will protest it.

Though most of studentstaking seats in advance are for better

study,

this kind ofphenomenon has great negative effects. On the one hand, it

is a selfish behavior, whichdamages other students interests. Sometimes

even if many students come to the classroomvery early, they cannot find

a seat. On the other hand, reserving a seat violates the rule offairness. No matter how late you come to class, the seat is still reserved for you

even thoughmany others are eager for that seat.

Considering the above-mentioned, I think, it is high time that we

college students took a goodlook of our

behavior. Indeed, only if all of

us can improve our consciousness, it is not a difficulttask for us to

get

rid of this kind of phenomenon "reserving a seat".
