Let’s go on with Part Two:Students analysis

Students of Grade seven are active and are interested in learning English. These are

their existing abilities. But they are short of vocabularies. At the same time, they are

easy to be absent-minded. And they are also easy to lose confidence. So in my class, I

will encourage and lead them to communicate and speak in English. Try to attract

their attentions.

Part three: The teaching methods

1. Communicative teaching method.

2.Task-based teaching method. That is to say, I’ll give students some chances to communicate, and guide the Ss to

get some useful information from the communication. Then students can fulfill the

tasks. Part Four: Studying methods I will explain self-directed learning first students can preview independently before

learning. Then I will explain cooperative learning :students can obtain the knowledge, skills

and emotions from communication, cooperation and discussion. Part Five: Teaching procedures

There are 6 steps in this part. Step 1 Preparation

I will begin with a song about numbers to help students review the numbers. After that , students can use numbers easily.

Step 2 Presentation First, I will create a situation. Welcome to the clothes shop! to guide the students to

learn the new words. Then, a test a help students enhance the new words and attract their attentions. After

that, students can finish 1a easily. Let’s move to the listening part. Before listening, I will ask students can you guess the words you will hear? To help students predict the

listening material. Then students will listen and finish 1b. The second time of listening, I will check the answer. The third time, students will listen and fill in the

blanks. After that, stents will fill in the blanks again without listening And this time much more words will be missed.

Step 3 Practice This step includes group-work and pair-work .

Before the group-work, I will ask one student “ How much is the sweater??” and show a picture to help. After that, students can make conversations easily. Then two

students will be in a group to make conversations. I will show them the sentence structures and pictures to help them. More than 5 groups will share their

conversation. Then the pair-work. 2 Students will make conversations of 1c. And I will show some

pictures to help them. Then I will ask 4 or 5 groups to show their conversations. Step 4 Production

There is s game for them. ”Let’s have a competition!” there are 4 shops for the students to choose. And two students will be in a group to choose a number. I will

give them an example first. If my partner and I choose NO1 we will come to the panda clothes shop. We will make a conversation like this .Then students in a group

will choose and pole-play in 2 minutes . One acts as the shop owner and the other as the customer. After doing this game, students will decide the winner.

Step 5 Progress
