And while the whole "Jack idolizes his dead cop dad" angle is set up nicely, it culminates in a wrap-up that feels a tad too sugary and sentimental. But these are just minor nitpicks in an otherwise incredibly lean, mean thrill ride of a movie.At the end of the day, "Hot Stuff" is an absolute blast from start to finish – a pitch-perfect example of how to make an over-the-top action romp that's consistently clever and exhilarating.
