the purpose of higher education
When people graduated from high school, they are just around eighteens. They are already adults in age, but not mature enough, especially in mind. Neither they have mastered any skill to make living, nor they have ever tried to live by themselves. Thus, higher education plays an important role to make them prepare for the independent life into the society.
Firstly, higher education gives students the chance to learn professional skill by offering variety of majors to choose. Students learn the same things during the primary school, middle school and high school. They learn what they should know and have no space to develope the area where they are really interested in. To be differently, higher education are setted based on students' interests. Students could have the full free to do what they like. Therefore, higher education is the most direct way to acquire professional skill.
Except the knowledge, higher education provide an independent environment for the student. They live with classmates in the university, away from their parents. They should learn how to arrange their own life and how to get along with others. There has no one to tell you what you should and shouldn't do any more. At the same time, independence also teaches students being responsible for themselves. You are an adult now, and you have the free to do everything. As the cost, you should undertake all the consequences.
Higher education are setted for the adult. It pening some public courses and professional courses. No matter what courses the university has opened, the higher education's purpose is improving the ability and techniques of the people who are going to work.。
