Unit 7 单元整体教学设计一、教材解读Textbook Analysis本单元教材以“谈论地理与自然”为中心话题,围绕着“较大的数字和运用形容词和副词的比较级、最高级”进行。
学习如何表达较大数字和运用句型来表达形容词和副词的比较级、最高级:What’s the highest mountain in the world? /How high is Qomolangma? It’s 8844.43 meters high./ It’s higher than any other mountain.等。
Section A 重点是学习较大数字的表述, 学会用不同句式表达比较级、最高级。
本部分难点是形容词比较级、最高级的不同表达句式,如higher than any other mountain, bigger than, almost as big as 等。
1a1c 为本单元的导入部分。
活动1a 的主题图呈现了Qomolangma, the Nile, the Caspian Sea 和the Sahara 四幅图,从而引出该部分的重点—“自然地理之最”的相关数据。
