（一） 学生分析

本课教学对象是学习英语的能力较弱普通高中生，他们能用英语完成比较简单的听说读写任务。

（二） 教材分析

（1）这篇文章，对学生而言，理解起来并不困难，其目的就是通过这篇文章提供的语言材料，让学生对金钱有正确的认识。（2）大量的长句，让学生注意长难句的分析。

（三） 教学目标

认知目标：理解文章大意。

能力目标：理解文章中的长难句，学会分析句子结构；掌握文章中的重要句型，并能灵活使用。

情感目标：通过了解查尔斯的情况，能用积极态度认识金钱的作用，树立正确的价值观。

（四） 教学策略

（1）以学生为主体的发现学习和合作学习。（2）以计算机课件、黑板、幻灯机为教学辅助手段。

（六）教学反思

学生对本节课话题具备有一定的背景知识、经历和经验，并了解一些相关的内容及词汇，所以本节课大部分学生兴趣浓厚，能够积极参与课堂活动，基本实现了教学目标。美中不足的是少数学生用英语进行思维和表达仍存在一定的困难，这在以后的教学中多多鼓励。另外有些学生在语音语调方面欠准确，需要在今后的学习中多听多读多说。整个教学过程，师生互动，采用多媒体辅助教学，提高了学生的学习兴趣。
