Story 1 Three Good Friends

One day, a monkey rides his bike near the river. This time he sees a lion under a tree.

The lion runs at him. He is afraid and falls into the river. He

can’t swim. He shouts.

The rabbit hears him. He jumps into the river. The rabbit swims to the monkey, but he can’t

help him.

Luckily, an elephant comes along. He is very strong. He helps the rabbit and monkey.

Three friends are very happy. They go to the elephant’s home. Then, three of them become

good friends.

Story 2 A Good Boy

Little Robert asked his mother for two cents. "What did you do with the money I gave you

yesterday?"

"I gave it to a poor old woman," he answered.

IT was a Sunday evening. One of my roommates, Cathy, came

back with a handful of shopping bags.

She looked excited and her eyes were sparkling, indicating that

she was about to tell us something she thought was interesting,

but which we often found totally boring. But I thought I would

indulge her this time.

"So spit it out, Cathy. What's up with all those flashy shopping

bags?"

"I went shopping with my mom this weekend! It was amazing, so

Little Red Riding Hood： Yes ,mummy．Goodbye, mummy.

Mum： Bye-bye. Sweetie

Then, she got out of the house. The weather was sunny, the sky was blue,

A Thanksgiving Story 感恩节的故事

It was the day before Thanksgiving the first one my three

children and I would be spending without their father, who had

left several months before. Now the two older children were very

sick with the flu, and the eldest had just been prescribed bed

rest for a week.

那是感恩节的前一天---小孩的父亲在几个月前离开了咱们,这将是我和三个小孩在没有他们父亲陪伴下度过的第一个感恩节.此刻两个大的小孩得了重伤风,而且医生还要求最大的那个小孩必需卧床休息一周。

It was a cool, gray day outside, and a light rain was falling.

I grew wearier as I scurried around, trying to care for each child:

thermometers, juice, diapers. And I was fast running out of

liquids for the children. But when I checked my purse, all I found

was about $ and this was supposed to last me until the end of
