Tonight, moonlight, family reunion. The annual Mid-Autumn Festival is coming! In the

evening, we gathered in the grandfather home for a month. After the grandmother\'s

homemade delicacies and tastes, everyone is talking about watching TV in the living room.

And our children are happily playing in the side, or playing electric. Can be arbitrary, want to

do anything can be really very happy.

Late, we come up with chicken, sausage, meat, corn, grapefruit, moon cake ..., wow! To the

courtyard full moon! After we had finished the fire, we put the material on the shelves, coated

with barbecue sauce, sprinkled with seasonings ..., followed by a burst of fragrance drifting

over, so I coveted. When you eat delicious barbecue and delicious grapefruit, we have funny,

happy atmosphere, nice!

To Experience the Life

Saturday Nov. 15, 2017 Cloudy My teacher gave me an assignment ^experience life^ last week. I had been thinking how to

finish it because I had never done any thing by myself before.

Mother was out today. It was a good chance to complete the assignment. Seeing the barrel

was empty, I decided to fetch water from the well.

I took the empty barrel and went towards the well outside the yard. It snowed yesterday, so

the alley was very slippery. A layer of thickice was frozen on the platform of the well. I was

frightened by the sight, but I gathered my courage to walk towards it.

The alley was so slippery that I walked with difficultly. Suddenly, I slipped and fell down,

water in the barrel totally poured down on the ground. I stepped on the platform carefully.

After standing steadily and squatting down slowly, I hooked the barrel at the end of the rope

and put the rope down slowly. I made an effort to drag the barrel up after it was filled with

water. I was very careful because it was easy to slip and fall. Then, I carried the barrel of

water and returned to my house. My figners were frozen stiff. I realized my effort was in

vain. I hated myself.

I failed to finish the assignment but I did experience life through a trifle which seemed easy

but difficult to do well. Such was my first experience of life.

I took my school report and came back home cautiously only to find mother wasn’t at home.

She went to my aunt’s and wou!d come back in the evcning. I knew that fi’om a note on the

table. I was still a little bit frightened as if mother would come back suddenly.

Seeing the low marks on the school report and remcmbering mother’s cold face, I almost

trembled with fear. lf mother know I got so low marks oa the subjects, especially English, she

would tear all my cartoon books which are my fovourite. I have been treating them as my

own life for a long time. But mother always thought cartoon diverted my attention from study

and had a bad effect on me. Frankly speaking, I had realized it. Mother hated those books.

She had warned me if I got low marks once more she would get rid of them. I Still wanted to

keep those books even if I would mever touch them from then on. What should I do? I knew

that any persuation was in vain. I would prevent mother from doing that.

A good idea stroke me. I gathered all the books and put them in a box. Then, I hid the box

under my bed. Having done it carefully, I had a breathing spell.

Opening the English book, I sat at the desk and began to read. It was really the time that I

learned English carefully, I thought.
