金属椭圆垫
金属椭圆垫片由锻造及热处理和机械加工制成,是一种应用于油及气体的管法兰,压力容器,高速接
合面,高温高压阀盖等的金属密封垫片,尤其压力、温度有波动的场合,仍能保持较好的密封性。
常用的R型椭圆垫按截面分为椭圆型或八角型,标准的R型环形垫片按API 6A以及ASME B16.20标准尺寸制造,最高使用压力是10000PSI。
在梯形槽法兰中八角垫与椭圆垫可以互换。
RX型适用于压力增强的标准R型环状垫片,适合于R型一样的法兰槽密封面。
BX型适用于压力增强并且设计应用高达15000PSI 压力系统。
有多种材质及形式适用于不同的设计与操作要求,参考材质特性表。
注意:选用椭圆垫材质硬度应低于法兰面15~20HB,而且建议不要重复使用。

More recently API 6A has increased the tolerance on bolt holes, adding further variation to weight. The calculated weights for flanges shown in this table consider the flanges to have the maximum weight based on the tolerance limits specified by API. 从API标准来说有三种类型:R, RX, BX后面的数字是各类型中的钢圈号。
根据对应的号从标准里面可以查到该钢圈对应的尺寸规格.
R型钢圈为机械压紧型,即只能靠法兰螺栓的上紧力矩来密封。
RX与BX为压力自紧型,除了靠法兰螺栓的上紧力矩来密封之外,井内压力越高,密封越好。
R与RX钢圈只用于6B型法兰(法兰面整个是平的),钢圈只用于6BX型法兰(法兰面中间一圈是突出来的,是高于螺栓空那一圈面的)。
R与RX钢圈可以重复使用,但BX钢圈只能使用一次。
BX钢圈只用于6BX型法兰。
