Procrastination(拖延)
What ought to be done today should not be put off till tomorrow. If a person is averse to doing what ought to be done at the present, he will most probably never do it. Such a person has contracted the habit of procrastination, which is generally akin to laziness.
Procrastination is a vice which arises from a weakness of will-power and shows itself in the reluctance to make a necessary effort. Again, "Procrastination is the thief of time." This proverb tells us that delaying is dangerous, and it often happens that a thing which is not done at the right time cannot be done at all.
It should be remembered that rarely, if ever, does a task become easier for being deferred on account of its difficulty. Since each day makes its own demands, in leaving today's work to be done along with tomorrow's, we run the risk of failure in both. So, never put off till tomorrow what you can do today.
