Unit 8 Why don’t you get her a scarf?Section B宁波市第十五中学实验校区胡科宇一、单元分析本单元围绕“Giving gift”开展听、说、读、写等一系列教学活动,主要是学习如何给别人买礼物及各种句型建议别人买礼物。
本单元的核心语言项目是“Compare qualities”. SectionB 对不同宠物的观点,围绕着should 和how about 等表示提建议的句式,逐步扩展。
SectionB 边循环SectionA 中出现的语言目标,边介绍新词汇。
然后,设计了两个听力活动,分别从两个层面,宏观到细节,帮助学生学习如何比较不同的动物。
具体而言:1a是词汇的拓展,引入宠物的词汇。
1b对宠物进行相关描述,为后面的活动奠定基础。
2a-2c围绕对不同宠物的评论进行了听力、口语训练;3a是一篇有关pets的阅读材料,要求学生了解宠物的优缺点,3b要求学生能够根据一幅宠物图片进行应用写作。
