A: Well, there are a lot of aspects to health, so I thought we could start with

diet. What do you normally eat in a day?

B: I try to eat a balanced diet, but I’ll admit that I’m not always perfect. I

usually have some oatmeal for breakfast, a sandwich or salad for lunch, and

then something like chicken or fish with vegetables for dinner.

A: That sounds pretty balanced to me. Do you ever snack during the day?

B: Yes, I do. I usually have some fruit or nuts as a snack, but sometimes I’ll

have a cookie or some other treat.

A: It’s okay to indulge every once in a while, but it’s important to make sure

we’re getting the nutrients our bodies need. Do you take any supplements?

B: Yes, I take a multivitamin and some fish oil every day.

A: That’s great. Another aspect of health is exercise. Do you have a fitness

routine?

B: I try to exercise for at least 30 minutes a day, usually a mix of cardio and

strength training. Sometimes I go for a run, sometimes I do some yoga, and I

also have some weights at home that I use.

A: That’s impressive. Exercise is so important for so many reasons. Have

you noticed any benefits from your routine?

B: Definitely. I feel more energized and focused, and I’ve also lost some

weight and gained some muscle tone. A: That’s great to hear. One last thing I wanted to touch on is emotional

health. Do you do anything to take care of your mental wellbeing?

B: Yes, I try to make time for myself every day to unwind. Sometimes I’ll

read or meditate, and sometimes I’ll take a bath or listen to music.

A: That’s wonderful. Self-care is so important, and it sounds like you have a
