四、教学设计Step 1 warming1. 师生互相问好，教师询问大家去过哪些城市呢？最喜欢哪个城市呢？最想要去哪个城市旅行呢？为什么呢？2. 教师向学生们说说自己最喜欢及最想要去的城市，并说说理由。
Step 2 Revision and Presentation1. 教师告诉学生我们这节课就要学学如何用英语与同学交流自己去某个城市需要花费的时间。
2. 教师请学生谈谈自己最想要去的城市，并谈谈这个城市位于哪里，有什么特点。
3. 教师出示单词卡片进行新单词教学，带读并配合肢体动作让同学们印象深刻。
4. 教师播放课文内容录音，请同学们认真听一遍，争取做到理解内容。

本课的重点交际用语是帮助学生巩固句型How long does it take to get to …from…by…It takes about…二、说教学目标《英语课程标准》指出：激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣，使学生树立自信心，养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略，发展学生自主学习的能力和合作精神是小学英语教学的基本任务。
在认真分析教材的基础上,我针对学生实际，将本课时的教学目标及重,难点确定如下:1.帮助学生复习世界著名城市的名称。
