Wow, have you heard about all the cool stuff China has been

doing in space? I just learned about it in school and I want to tell

you all about it!

First of all, China sent its first satellite into space in 1970. Can

you believe that? That was like, a long time ago! And then in

2003, China sent its first astronaut into space. His name was Yang

Liwei and he stayed up there for a whole day. That's so cool!

But wait, it gets even better. In 2013, China sent a rover to

the moon! It's called the Chang'e 3 and it's been exploring the

moon ever since. And get this, in 2019, China became the first

country to land a spacecraft on the far side of the moon. Like, the

side we can't even see from Earth! How amazing is that?

China's Amazing Space Adventures!

Hi friends! Today, I'm going to tell you all about China's

awesome space program and some of the incredible things

they've accomplished in exploring the cosmos. Get ready to be

amazed!

First, let me tell you about the Shenzhou spacecraft. These

cool spaceships are kind of like China's own version of the space

shuttles that NASA used to send astronauts into space. The first

Shenzhou mission was back in 1999, and since then, China has

launched lots of these spacecraft with astronauts, or "taikonauts"

as they're called, on board.

One of the most exciting Shenzhou missions was in 2003

when Yang Liwei became the first Chinese taikonaut to go into
