第三课时
【知识目标】 让学生掌握字母y在单词中的发音规律。
【能力目标】
学唱“Who is your teacher?”。
【情感目标】
培养学生听音写词的能力。
掌握元音字母在单词中的发音,纠正学生错误的发音。
教师准备多媒体课件、音频、视频、词卡。
教学过程
Step 1. Warm-up
1. Free talk
T: Good morning, everyone.
Ss: Good morning, teacher.
T: How are you today?
Ss: Fine, thank you. And you?

2. 教师请一两组学生上讲台表演“A. Let’s talk”部分对话。
Step 2. Preview
全班学生学唱唱歌曲“Who’s your teacher?”,再分男女组比赛唱。
Step 3. Presentation
A. Let’s spell
1. Read, listen and chant
(1) 教师在黑板上用简笔画画出一个娃娃的图片,说:“This is a baby.”。
(2) 教师给娃娃画一个大大的笑脸,说:“Look at the baby. He’s happy.”
(3) 教师在娃娃上方画一些风,说:“What’s the weather like today? Oh, it’s windy.”。
(4) 教师在风旁边画一个太阳,说:“Oh, the sun comes out now. It’s sunny.”。
(5) 教师用多媒体课件呈现不小心踩到别人的脚、不小心把别人的东西碰掉等情景,问:“What should we say?”,引导学生说:“Sorry.”。
(6) 教师把本部分的五个示例单词写在黑板上,带领学生读几遍。

(7) 播放本部分的教学录音,全班跟着录音读,提醒学生在跟读时要注意模仿录音中的发音,尽量做到读准元音字母的发音。
2. Listen, number and say
(1) 教师先带领学生将本部分的单词读几遍,然后让学生分组读、分男女生读。
(2) 播放本部分的教学录音,学生根据录音内容给单词标号。
(3) 再次播放教学录音,师生一起核对答案。
3. Listen, write and say
(1) 教师播放教学录音,全班学生根据录音内容填空。
(2) 再次播放教学录音,师生一起核对答案。
(3) 让学生选择自己喜欢的一句话,并把其在四线三格中抄写两遍。
Step 4. Homework
1.寻找带有y发音规律的单词,并抄写三遍。 2.请用有同样发音规律的含“y”的单词编chant。
学生们在学习了A部分的单词和句型后,能描绘人物特征,但是对于“What's he/she like?”和“What does she/he like?”这两个句型,学生容易弄混淆。教师在教学中要加强训练,操练运用。要运用情境教学法,让学生总结y的发音,这个过程中会有一些困难,老师要加强指导。◆教学反思 Unit One What’s he like?

C. It’s... today. Let’s have a picnic.
D. Say... if you are wrong.
E. What’s the weather like? It’s...
2. Focus on the words baby, happy, windy, sunny, and sorry. Find out the common points ending with letter y.
3. Ask some Ss to read the five words above and talk about
the sound of letter y. Help the Ss to pronounce letter y /ɪ/
well.
4. Let’s spell.
A. Show the pictures of Let’s spell. Ask individuals to read and
spell the words.
B. Listen and repeat after the video.
C. Listen, number and say. Listen to the tape twice, then check
the answers. Pay attention to the words candy, many, family,
party.
D. Listen, write and say. The … is … I like … I am …
Step 3 Consolidation & Extension
1. Let the Ss say more words which are finished by letter y
/I/. Then try to read the new words which are finished by
letter y /I/.
eg. party, mummy, candy, lucky...
2. Compare the words ended with letter y, and try to read and
discuss when letter y sounds /I/ /aI/.
3. Help Ss to discuss when letter y sounds /j/. Then give the
rules.
4. Lead to read the words.
5. Do exercises.
A. Choose the word with a different sound.
B. Read and judge.
Step 4 Summary & Homework
1. Talk about when letter y sounds /I/. Help the Ss distinguish
the sound of letter y.
2. Do homework.
A. Listen and say the chant.
B. Write more words with the letters and the sounds. Reflection
