My Awesome Family Vacation

Wow, you guys! I'm so excited to tell you all about the

amazing vacation my family just went on. It was the best trip ever

and I have so many fun stories to share with you!

It all started last month when my mom and dad surprised me

and my little brother Timmy by telling us we were going to

Disney World in Florida for spring break! Can you believe it? The

happiest place on Earth! Timmy and I started jumping up and

down, we were so psyched. I'd never been to Disney before but

I'd heard so many cool things about it from my friends.

We had to pack our suitcases way in advance because my

mom is really organized like that. I carefully picked out all my

favorite t-shirts, shorts, and sneakers to bring. I also made sure

to pack my player for the incredibly long car ride we'd have to

take to get there. Timmy takes forever to pack his stuff so my

dad had to help him out. Finally, the day arrived and we hit the road bright and early.

The drive took forever - I think we were in the car for like 2 days

straight! But it was okay because Timmy and I had our players to

keep us busy. We also played some fun road trip games like I Spy

and the License Plate Game to pass the time. My mom had

packed a bunch of snacks too which was awesome.

When we finally made it to our hotel near Disney, we were all

so exhausted from the drive. But we were also super pumped

because we could see the tops of the rides at Magic Kingdom

peeking over the tops of the buildings. Our hotel room had a

view of the park and fireworks went off every night which was so

cool to watch right from our window!

The next morning, bright and early, we got up and headed

straight to the parks. I couldn't believe how huge Magic

Kingdom was! There were rides and attractions everywhere you

looked. Timmy and I didn't know where to run first. We started

off by going on Splash Mountain because that's one of the most

popular rides. Let me tell you, when you're plummeting down

those steep drops and get completely soaked by the water, it's

an incredible rush!

After that, we went on classic rides like It's A Small World,

the Haunted Mansion, and Pirates of the Caribbean. I loved the animatronics and the attention to detail on all the rides. For

lunch, we ate at the Jungle Cruise themed restaurant which had

amazing burgers and fries. Timmy got a kick out of all the exotic

animal props and scenery inside the place.

The best part of Magic Kingdom though was getting to meet

all the famous Disney characters walking around the park. We

waited in line to take pictures with Mickey, Minnie, Donald,

Goofy, and so many more. Timmy was starstruck and adorably

gave them all big hugs. I tried to act cool in front of them but I

was majorly geeking out on the inside!

That first day was just the start of an entire week filled with

fun Disney adventures. One day we went to Epcot and

experienced architecture and cultures from countries all around

the world. Another day was spent at Hollywood Studios which

had awesome shows and rollercoasters themed around movies.

But my absolute favorite was Animal Kingdom where we got

to see real live tigers, gorillas, elephants and other exotic animals

up close. There was this one crazy ride called Expedition Everest

which was a high-speed train coaster where you rode through

the habitat for endangered Asian species like the Yeti! I've never

gone so fast or felt so much adrenaline in my life. We spent our final day at the waterparks just relaxing,

floating down lazy rivers, and going on gnarly waterslide rides. I

got a sweet tan which was great after being pale all winter long.

All good things must come to an end though, and that evening

we piled back into the car for another two days of driving back

home.

Now that I'm back at school, I can't stop talking about my

awesome trip to Disney World! I already can't wait to go back

again sometime. Maybe once Timmy and I are older we can be

Disney park employees for a summer and get to live there!

Wouldn't that be the dream? A kid can wish!

Anyway, that's the epic story of my family's spring break

Disney vacation. I'm so lucky my parents took us because it made

incredible memories I'll never forget. Between the rides, the

characters, the themed lands, and the overall Disney magic, it

was literally the most fun week of my life so far. What an

adventure!
