rivers. The people here are very friendly and hospitable. In

my hometown, we have a lot of traditional festivals, and one

of the most famous is the Dragon Boat Festival. Every year,

we hold a dragon boat race to celebrate this festival. I love

my hometown because it is not only beautiful but also full of

warmth and culture.

2. My Favorite Subject

Among all the subjects I study, English is my favorite. I

started learning English when I was in primary school, and I

have been fascinated by it ever since. I enjoy reading

English books and watching English movies. They help me learn

new words and improve my listening skills. I also like to

communicate with people from different countries to practice

my spoken English. English is a bridge that connects me with

the world.

3. My Family

I have a happy family with four members: my father, my

mother, my younger brother, and me. My father is a doctor and

my mother is a teacher. They are both very busy with their

work, but they always find time to spend with us. My brother

and I are very close, and we often play games and do homework

together. We support each other and share our joys and sorrows. I feel very lucky to have such a loving family.

My day usually starts at 6:30 am when I wake up and get

ready for school. After breakfast, I go to school and have

participate in extracurricular activities like the school

choir or the basketball team. In the evening, I do my

homework and read for a while before going to bed. I like my

daily routine because it is balanced and fulfilling.

5. My Dream Job

When I grow up, I want to be a scientist. I am very

interested in science and technology, and I enjoy learning

about new discoveries and inventions. I believe that being a

scientist can help me contribute to society and make the

world a better place. I am studying hard to achieve my dream,

and I hope to one day work in a laboratory and conduct

research.

6. A Trip to the Zoo

Last weekend, my family and I went to the zoo. We saw many

different animals, such as lions, elephants, and pandas. My

favorite part of the trip was when we fed the giraffes. They

are so tall and gentle. We also learned a lot about the

animals and their habitats from the zookeepers. It was a fun

and educational experience.

7. My Favorite Season

Spring is my favorite season of the year. The weather is neither too hot nor too cold, and everything is coming back

to life after the cold winter. Trees are budding, flowers are

blooming, and the air is filled with the sweet scent of

nature. I love to go for a walk in the park during spring,

enjoying the beautiful scenery and the fresh air.

8. A Special Birthday

My last birthday was very special because it was the first

time I celebrated it with my entire family and some close

friends. My parents organized a surprise party for me, and

they even baked a big cake with my favorite flavor. We played

games, sang songs, and had a great time. It was a birthday I

will always remember.

The book that I like the most is "Harry Potter and the

Philosopher's Stone" by J.K. Rowling. It is a magical story

about a young wizard named Harry Potter who discovers his

true identity and goes on an adventure to save the wizarding

world. The book is exciting, full of mystery, and teaches

important life lessons about friendship and bravery.

10. A Visit to the Museum

During the summer vacation, I visited a museum with my

classmates. We saw many historical artifacts and learned

about the history of our city. The museum had a special

exhibition on ancient Chinese inventions, which was very

interesting. I was amazed by the ingenuity of our ancestors

and how their inventions have shaped the world we live in

today. The visit to the museum was both enjoyable and

enlightening.
