reflection on my english study

English has always been a subject that I have enjoyed

learning during school years. Despite being able to

understand and speak it in daily life with high fluency,

understanding the theories behind the language, and putting

them into practice have always been an ongoing challenge to

me. As part of my efforts to rediscover my English study, I

have gone back to the basics and learned the fundamentals of

English grammar and composition, reviewing the parts of

speech and mastering the rules of capitalization and

punctuation.

To improve my sentence structure and fluency in the

language, I have taken to reading extensively. Over the past

few months, I have built up a substantial library of books

that I could draw from and familiarize myself with the

various styles of writing. Through this, I have learned to

formulate cohesive and meaningful sentences, ensuring clarity

and precision.

I have also committed to practicing regular writing

exercises to explore the different dynamics of the English

language. By composing essays and participating in online

discussions, I have refined my ability to express myself in a

succinct manner and in a way that will be meaningful to the

reader. Moreover, I also practice improving my listening and

comprehension skills through audio lessons.

My English study has come a long way since I first began

it. I have embraced the nuances of the language, learning how

to use words to create an impact. I have also taken the time to analyze the content I read and the conversations that I

have heard to better understand the contexts from which the

message is being conveyed and how the various pieces fit

together.

Overall, my studying of English has been a valuable and

educative journey. It has helped me become a better reader

and listener, and it has also provided me with the tools to

better express myself creatively.
