Unit 11How was your school trip?一、单元分析本单元围绕“school trip”开展教学活动,学习动词的一般过去式。
本单元的核心语言项目是“Talk about events in the past”,主要话题是“School trip”。
从Section A的“How was your school trip? What did you do...?”等扩展到Section B的其他一些学校组织的旅行活动,篇章的内容也逐渐加深,体现了新教材融汇话题、交际功能和语言结构的循序渐进的生活化的学习程序。
二、学情分析学生已学习了一般现在时和现在进行时两种时态,学习了有关学校生活和表达日期的话题,积累了一定的描述周末和节假日活动的词汇,这些为本单元的活动做了很好的铺垫。
另外,谈论学校活动是学生日常生活中既熟悉又感兴趣的话题,可以拓展思维,激发学生开口说英语的欲望,充分调动学生学习的积极性。
三、教学目标1.语言技能目标(1)能询问别人的旅游经历,如:Did you go...?How was your trip?(2)能谈论自己的有趣经历并表达自己的感受,如:I went to/visited...All in all,it was a really exciting day.2.语言知识目标(1)学习谈论过去发生的事,回顾自己过去有趣的(或糟糕的)经历,正确运用一般过去时。
如:-Did you go to the zoo?-No, I didn't. I went to the farm.-Did you see any cows?-Yes, I did. I saw quite a lot.-Were the strawberries good?-No, they weren't.(2)了解如何进行一些有意义的学校活动,使用“Did you...?What did you do...?Where did you...?How was...?Were there...?”等句型;(3)掌握一些词组,如:milk a cow, ride a horse, feed chicken, talk with, grow apples, show around, pick strawberries等。
How was your school trip? 教学设计(Period 1)一、教学目标在本节课结束时,学生将能够:了解部分动词过去式,动词过去式规则变化与不规则变化并初步感知一般过去时的基本用法。
(一)知识与能力1. 学习并掌握有关农场之行的相关动词短语。
2. be动词过去式和部分动词过去式的规则与不规则变化。
3. 学习一般过去时的陈述句、一般疑问句、特殊疑问句和相关答语。
4. 初步感知并运用一般过去时谈论过去发生的事情。
(二)过程与方法采用任务型教学方法进行自主学习和同伴合作,利用教学图片、幻灯片等展开课堂教学,通过呈现假期游览的相关图片,导入度假活动,听力输入、同伴讨论等多种形式的语言训练活动,让学生逐步学会运用一般过去时叙述和询问过去的活动经历。
本单元的教学法建议:语音教学——能归纳规则动词的过去式及发音规则;词汇教学——采取图片学习相关短语,让学生在情境中操练、理解含义,并学会运用;口语教学——采取pairwork问答式的口语交际活动;听力教学——采取判断正误、填表、听后回答问题等方式输入语言;语法教学——观察、模仿、操练、感知,学习掌握一般过去时。
(三)情感态度与价值观本节课围绕学校组织的农场之行展开,描述乡村生活,有利于城市学生了解乡村的生活,激发他们探索自然的兴趣,小组活动的开展有利于培养学生的合作意识。

三、教学策略语音教学:让学生能在朗读或对话中归纳规则动词的过去式发音规则,正确读出规则动词的过去式词尾的发音,了解did you,didn’t发音情况并正确朗读;词汇教学:采取图片进行短语教学,让学生在情境中操练、理解含义,并学会运用;口语教学:采取pairwork问答式的口语交际活动和小组活动互相操练;听力教学:采取判断正误、填表、听后回答问题等方式;设计贴近学生生活情景的活动对目标语言进行训练。

Greet the class.

Play the song “ Old MacDonald had a farm” and have Ss find out the animals in the song. Get Ss answer like this : On the farm ,there are some ducks, cats,chickens, cows pigs,dogs and horses . They are animals.
Step 3 Presentation
1. Show a picture and tell Ss: This is also a farm. Last week Carol and his classmates had a school trip. They went to the farm. What did they do on the farm? How was their school trip?
2. Show some pictures again and try to get the past tense verbs expressions according to the pictures.
