第一单元的课文情景是Sam看到朋友们的头上顶着杯子,于是询问原因。
大明告诉他事情的经过:他们计划打一场棒球赛,Amy让玲玲为比赛带来帽子,但是玲玲带来了杯子。
Sam说道在英语单词方面很容易犯错误,而且他为大家带来了棒球帽。
最终大家戴上帽子去打棒球了。
本单元的目标语言是Why do you have cups on your heads? Why are you laughing?第二单元的课文是四组人物对话,为什么某人正穿着雨衣、戴着帽子、穿着T恤或连衣裙?并用because回答了原因。
本单元的目标语言是Why are you +动词ing..? Because+原因。
本模块的学习重点是能正确运用Why询问事情,并用because来表达原因。

三、学情分析本班学生经过前几年的学习积累,已经对英语具有稳定的学习兴趣,大部分学生对英语的学习积极性较高,基础知识扎实,学习方法得当,形成了一定的综合运用英语语言的能力。
但依然有个别学生没有形成良好的学习习惯,没有找到行之有效的学习方法,因而在学习过程中信心不足,参与到语言活动过程的积极性不高。
特别是两种版本的交替使用,新旧知识的衔接、脱漏知识的补给、教学时间的短缺等为教师的教和学生的学增添了相当大的难度。
这就要求我们做老师的要在课堂上既要尽可能多地运用我们以前学习过的语言知识,坚持听说读写的训练,同时还得考虑学生英语学习实际状况以及他们的情感需要。
