The Hunger GamesThe Hunger Games is a 2012 American adventure film directed by Gary Ross(加里·罗斯) and based on the novel of the same name by Suzanne Collins(苏珊·柯林斯).Jennifer Lawrence(凯特妮丝•艾佛丁)plays Katniss Everdeen(凯特妮丝·艾佛丁)and Josh Hutcherson(乔什·哈切森)plays Peeta Mellark(比德·梅尔拉克).The story takes place in a virtual future. The nation of Panem(帕兰) consists of a wealthy Capitol ruling twelve poorer districts. As punishment for a past rebellion, each district must provide two "tributes" - one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 selected by lottery- every year to compete in the Hunger Games; they must fight to the death in a vast arena, with the sole survivor rewarded with fame and wealth.Katniss Everdeen(凯特妮丝·艾佛丁), a 16-year-old girl from District 12 who volunteers for the 74th annual Hunger Games in place of her younger sister. The male tribute chosen from District 12 is Peeta Mellark(比德·梅尔拉克). They are taken to the Capitol to train for the coming Games. With the game time goes on, more and more tributes are killed. Finally, only Katniss(凯特妮丝)and Peeta(比德) survived. Because of their image in the minds of the audience as "star-crossed lovers", a rule change is announced midway through the Games, allowing two tributes from the same district to win the Hunger Games as a couple.Upon hearing this, Katniss(凯特妮丝) finds wounded Peeta(比德). She nurses him back to health, and acts a young girl falling in love to gain more favor from the audience. When the couple remains as the last two surviving tributes, the Game makers reverse the rule change in an attempt to force them into a tragic finale, where one must kill the other to win.Do not want to kill each other, Katniss(凯特妮丝)provide some poisonous berries to Peeta(比德). Realizing that Katniss(凯特妮丝) and Peeta(比德) would choose to suicide, the Game makers have to announce that they both will be victors.Film reflects a brutal social reality. Rules of the game are set by the ruler and all the rules are designed to safeguard the ruler’s rule. But, the rulers can easily change the rules. It also reflects the political nature - deceptive.Love is the soul of the film, especially in the final episode, the hero and heroine would rather die for love instead of obeying "rules of the game".It just shows that if there is no love, there is no difference between the living and the dead.。
饥饿游戏观后感英文100字"The Hunger Games" is a captivating dystopian thriller that explores the grim realities of a future where children are forced to fight for their lives as entertainment for the ruling elite. As I watched the film, I was drawn into the intense struggle for survival and the unwavering spirit of resistance among the characters. The film opens in a bleak, post-apocalyptic world where the Capital controls the resources and the people of the districts are starved and oppressed. Katniss Everdeen, a fearless and determined girl from District 12, volunteers to take her younger sister's place in the Hunger Games, a deadly competition where contestants are forced to kill each other for the entertainment of the wealthy elite. What makes this film so compelling is its exploration of themes like survival, resistance, and the cost of freedom. Katniss's journey from a reluctant contestant to a symbol of rebellion against the Capitol is both heartbreaking and inspiring. Her relationship with Peeta, another contestant, adds a layer of complex emotional depth to the story. The film's visual style is also noteworthy, with its stark contrast between the opulence of the Capitol and the barrenness of the districts. The director, Gary Ross, captures the grim atmosphere and the intense emotional toll of the Games perfectly. What struck me most is the film's message about the resilience of the human spirit. Despite the oppressive conditions and constant threat of violence, the characters refuse to give up their hope and fight for a better future. Katniss's defiant act of refusing to participate in the Capitol's charade and her final act of sacrificing herself for the sake of others is a powerful reminder of the power of resistance and the cost of freedom. In conclusion, "The Hunger Games" is not just athrilling action film; it's a powerful commentary on society, survival, and the human spirit. It left methinking about the importance of resisting oppression and fighting for what is right, even in the face of seemingly impossible odds. The film's message is as relevant today as it was when it was first released, making it a timeless classic that deserves to be watched and discussed.**《饥饿游戏》观后感:生存与反抗的挣扎**《饥饿游戏》是一部引人入胜的反乌托邦惊悚片,探索了一个未来世界的残酷现实,在这个世界中,儿童被迫作为娱乐手段为统治阶级而战,争夺生存权。
