1．How much are these socks？这些短袜多少钱？
(1)much是形容词，意为“许多；大量”，用来修饰不可数名词。
(2)在英语中，有些以s结尾的名词所表示的物体由两个相同部分组成，如trousers，socks，shorts等，这样的名词作主语时，谓语动词要用复数形式。例如：
The trousers are very nice.这条裤子很漂亮。
(3)how much可用来询问物品的价格，其句型结构为“How much is/are…？”，意为“……多少钱？”。回答时常用“It's/They're…”。例如：
—How much is the dictionary？这本词典多少钱？
—It's 10 dollars.10美元。

①询问物品的价格还可用句型“What's the price of…？”。例如：
What's the price of the desk？这张桌子多少钱？
②how much还可用来询问不可数名词的量，意为“多少”。例如：
How much milk do we need？我们需要多少牛奶？
2．dollar的用法
dollar意为“元(美国、加拿大等国的货币单位，符号为$)”，是可数名词，其复数形式为dollars。

这是向别人提供帮助的常用句型，广泛应用于商店、旅馆、饭店等服务性行业。类似用法的句型：What can I do for you？/May I help you？/Is there anything I can do for you？/Could

4．look的用法
(1)look作不及物动词，意为“看”，当表示“看……”时，要用look at。
(2)look作感官动词，意为“看起来”，后常接形容词作表语。例如：
This new sweater looks nice.这件新毛衣看起来很漂亮。
5．pair的用法
pair作名词，意为“一双；一对”。由a pair of/pairs of修饰的名词作主语时，谓语动词的单复数应视pair的单复数而定。例如：
These pairs of socks are brown.这些袜子都是棕色的。
A pair of socks is two dollars.一双袜子需要两美元。
6．I'll take…的用法
这是购物时的常用语。当顾客选定商品而决定购买时，常用I'll take…句型。其中I'll 是I will的缩写形式。will是助动词，意为“将要”，表示将要发生的动作。句中的take意为“买”，多用在口语中，相当于buy。例如：
The two bags look very nice.I'll take them.这两个包看上去很漂亮，我买下了。
