在新生产线启动后的第一阶段，WLM1已达到了预期目标：以200m/min的速度生产的非织造布显示出较高的产品质量。

在第一步成网阶段，纤维混合液被喂入福伊特HydroFormer湿法头，在设备的斜网上形成均匀的纤网层，这一过程在许多方面类似于纸张的制造过程。

福伊特将其在造纸设备上的经验应用在湿法头HydroFormer上，从而使在这一领域生产高质量的非织造布成为可能。

福伊特和特吕茨勒再次合作了湿法水刺项目，其中特吕茨勒主要负责纤网加固和烘干。

可再生纤维素原料具有很高的成本效益，可生产具有不同特点的高品质非织造布。

其中一种特别的产品就是可冲散湿巾，它在移动的水中很快就会分解，但同时在潮湿时有很高的强度。

此外，这种产品是完全可生物降解的。

因此，WLM1上生产的卫生产品可作为潮湿的厕纸，并可简单地冲进马桶，十分完美，对减少废水系统的堵塞和故障做出了重要贡献。

以纤维素为材料的卫生产品比以石油为原料的原材料更加环保，并确保我们的海洋被塑料垃圾污染得更少。

生产所需的第二种原料，即水，也通过湿法技术得到环保利用。
