How did the woman get help?
When a light passenger plane flew off course some time ago, it crashed
in the mountains and its pilot was killed. The only passengers, a young
woman and her two baby daughters, were unhurt. It was the middle of winter.
Snow lay thick on the ground. The woman knew that the nearest village was

the harbour early in the morning. He will be in his small boat, Topsail。 Topsail is a famous little
boat。 It has sailed across the Atlantic many times。 Captain Alison will set out at eight o'clock,

away for two months。 We are very proud of him。 He will take part in an important race across

If you park your car in the wrong place, a traffic policeman will soon find it. You will be very
lucky if he lets you go without a ticket. However, this does not always happen. Traffic police are
sometimes very polite. During a holiday in Sweden, I found this note on my car: 'Sir, we welcome
you to our city. This is a "No Parking" area. You will enjoy your stay here if you pay attention to
our street signs. This note is only a reminder.' If you receive a request like this, you cannot fail to
obey it!
