孔雀、八哥和母鸡

从前有一个农夫，在树林里盖了一所房子，房子盖得既坚固又宽敞，林子里的鸟都希望搬进这所房子，和农夫住在一起。

孔雀头一个跑到农夫那里说：“让我和你一起住吧，我长得好看，如果打开我的尾巴就像鲜花一样漂亮。”

随后，八哥飞来对农夫说：“让我和你一起住吧，我的嘴巴最巧，你说什么，我就会说什么，保证你爱听。”

这时有一只母鸡来到农夫房前，农夫问母鸡：“你有什么特长？”母鸡憨厚地说：“我长得既不漂亮，嘴巴也不巧，能干的事就是下蛋。”

农夫听了他们的话，笑着说：“踏踏实实地下一个蛋，比摆弄一百次漂亮的羽毛，说一千句好听的话要贵得多。好吧，勤劳踏实的母鸡，欢迎你到我这里来住。”

春天的早晨

春天的早晨真美丽！鸟儿喳喳地叫着，鸟妈妈往刚出世的小鸟嘴里喂食。小草伸伸懒腰，慢慢地拱出地面，脸上挂着晶莹的露珠。前些天还是光秃秃的树枝上，长出了嫩嫩的绿叶。太阳公公不知什么时候悄悄地拨开云雾，露出了它那红扑扑的脸。

日月潭在台湾的中部，四周被群山围绕着，中央有一个美丽的小岛---光华岛，因为岛的北面像日，南面像月，所以人们便称她为日月潭。

日月潭简直是人间仙境一样。那儿不但环境宁静，而且景色宜人。无论在早晨、黄昏、晴天或雨天，她都呈现各种不同的面貌。黎明时，湖面的轻烟还没有散去，隐隐约约地还看得到天边的晨星和远山的几点灯光，这时候，清风吹来，顿时使人清醒了许多。日落的时候，潭水荡漾着美丽的霞光，像害羞的小姑娘的脸，多么好看。在艳阳高照的当儿，整个日月潭的美景，都清晰地展现在眼前，使人突然胸襟开朗起来。蒙蒙细雨的时候，她又好像披上一层薄薄的轻纱，周围的景物都那么朦胧，充满了神秘感。
