课堂指津阅读教学是高中英语教学中的重要组成部分之一,也是学生获得语言知识和文化知识的重要途径。
近几年来,“翻转课堂”的出现,有效地改变目前单一的阅读教学模式。
鉴于此,文章将结合教学经验,分别从课前、课中和课后三个阶段探讨如何运用“翻转课堂”开展高中英语阅读教学。
一、课前预习,解决生词障碍在传统的英语课堂时间安排上,教师会花大量的时间带领学生学习单词、语法、句式等基础知识,这导致学生在阅读时很难有充足的时间自主思考。
翻转课堂的特点之一就是不受时空的限制,因此,教师可以借助微视频的力量,将单词等内容放在课前预习部分,让学生自主学习,扫清阅读文本中的生词障碍。
以牛津译林版高中英语M2unit2Reading 教学为例,在教学之前,教师可以提前录制讲解知识点的视频,让学生通过视频学习的方式进行预习。
为了提高学生预习的效率,教师要帮助学生明确预习时的学习目标。
如:(1)通过观看视频,能认识并拼写arrange 、flight 、dusty 、uncomfortable 、protection 、advance 、de-fence 、scare 等单词。
(2)通过课前预习,能用一句话概括文章主要内容。
(3)把文章至少读三遍以上。
(4)思考两个问题:What genre is this article ?Where did Toby go on an African expedition ?Have you ever been to any places to explore,have you anything to recall ?教师通过微课预习的方式,节省了部分教学时间。
同时,学生通过课前预习,获得了学习的主动权,并且不同层次的学生可以自主安排时间进行预习,解决了学生学习进度慢、跟不上课堂节奏等问题。
二、课中探讨,交流语篇内容在课前预习的时候,学生的理解能力不同,可能会在不同的地方有不同的疑惑之处,尤其是对于文章主题的理解,这就可能需要通过交流讨论的方式解决。
