New Year's Eve is always a time of excitement and anticipation. This year, our
school decided to throw an amazing New Year's party. The gymnasium was
decorated with colorful balloons and streamers. It looked like a magical wonderland.
As soon as we walked into the party, we were greeted by the sound of lively
music. There were tables filled with delicious snacks and treats. Everyone was
chatting and laughing, full of joy and excitement.
The highlight of the party was the talent show. Students from different classes
performed various acts. There were singers who belted out popular tunes, dancers
who moved gracefully, and even a group of magicians who wowed us with their tricks.
I was especially impressed by a group of classmates who did a hilarious skit. They had
us all in stitches with their funny jokes and exaggerated gestures.

On New Year's Eve, our class had a party. The atmosphere
was good. It was out of the ordinary from the very begining.
The boy student from one bedroom gave an unusual performance.
We saw a boy named Li Xinmin turn off all the lights in a sudden

（第三课时）
一、说教材
我说课的内容是陕旅版英语六年级上册Unit8 New Year’s Party第三课时的内容。这部分主要描述了在新年来临之际，一班学生一起准备和庆祝新年的一系列活动。按时间先后顺序，课文分别展示了在新年聚会上一班学生的活动情况。通过对课文的学习要求学生能够将所学知识运用到实际生活中。
二、说教学重难点：
1.理解和运用First, Next, Then, Finally, 一系列表示先后顺序的副词来描述事情发张过程。
2.能在实际生活中准确运用一般过去式态描述并谈论有关新年聚会的相关内容。
三、说教法
基于本课的特点，我在教学设想和学法指导上，坚持以新年聚会这一话题为核心，以理解文本信息为主线，以任务型活动安排本课教学，通过看图、听录音、联系上下文等形式来完成这些任务，帮助学生在完成任务的过程中提升其听、说、读、写的能力。
四、说教学过程
1、创设情境，自然导入
通过和学生一起演唱歌曲“Happy New Year”来渲染节日气氛，然后利用小组活动来检测学生对动词过去的掌握情况 ，最后通过句型What do you think of ..?来检测学生对对话的理解和掌握。
2、小组竞赛，激发兴趣
本节课教学以听、说为主，通过小组竞赛活动，为学生提供了宽松、民主、和谐的教学氛围，学生回答问题积极主动，学习兴趣浓厚。从而使英语课堂从沉闷走向活跃。
3、形式多样，练习口语表达能力
读能培养语感，良好的语感有助于学生的英语书写。小学生的学习动力大多来自于兴趣，为了提高学生开口说英语的兴趣，这节课上，我通过让学生跟录音朗读、齐读、小组读、个人读等方式，练习口语，学习新知。如在教学中，我教学生复述课文时，反复操练First …next ..then …finally等表示时间的副词，极大程度的调动了学生的学习积极性，从而熟练掌握了本课的知识点。把课堂变成有声有色的舞台，让学生乐学、会学到创学。
