Teaching procedure:
Step1: Greeting
T: Say "hello" to my students.
S : Say "hello: to me.
Step2: warming-up
T: let students listen the radio about the“Let‘s chant ”on page 7. Step3 lead-in
T：teach my students the new words：kind young strict smart active funny
Second，invite student to read the new words by themselves. Third，teach the sentence——Who is your principle. —Miss Lin.
Is she young？—No，she is old. Step4 ：presentation
T：Let students learn the“Let‘s talk”on page 8. Ask students to write down the Chinese meaning.
Ask students listen the radio about the dialogue. Invite two or there pairs to act the dialogue.
Step5 ：practise
T：divide students into groups to read the dialogue.
Step6 ：consolidation
T：Let students listen the radio about the“Let‘s chant ”once again.
Step7：summary
T：Give my students a short summary about this lesson，and three or four minutes to ask question. Finally，give my students their homework..
Homework：
1、prepare lessons after classs.

2.能力目标：学生能在真实情境中运用所学知识进行自我介绍和介绍他人。

3.情感目标：学生能积极参与课堂活动，克服对新环境的不适应，建立良好的师生关系和同学关系。

四. 教学重难点1.重点：新单词和句子的认读和书写，如new teachers, newclassmates等。

2.难点：运用所学知识进行自我介绍和介绍他人的实际操作。

五. 教学方法1.情境教学法：通过呈现真实情境，激发学生的学习兴趣，提高学生的参与度。

Unit 1 My New Teachers教学目标：1、能力目标：（1）能够简单描述自己教师的体貌特征及性格特点，如：We have a new English teacher. He’s tall and strong. He’s very funny.（2）能够询问并介绍学校里教师的情况，如：Who’s your Englishteacher? Mr Carter .He’s from Canada. What’s he like? He’s tall and strong.（3）能够听懂一些描述人物特征的简单对话，完成学生用书中的Let’s try 部分。

（4）能够听懂、会唱歌曲“My New Teacher”.能够灵活替换歌词中的科目及表示人物特征的形容词。

2、知识目标（1）理解A、B部分Read and write 中的会话，并根据提示填充句子或回答问题。

（2）听、说、读、写A、B部分Let’s learn 和Read and write 中的四会单词和句子。

（3）理解Let’s start、Let’s find out、Let’s sing、Let’s chant 和Pair work等部分的内容。

（4）了解Pronunciation部分的字母组合在单词中的发音，并能熟练读出例词。

（5）了解Task time 、Story time、Good to know等部分的内容。

3、情感、策略、文化等有关目标：（1）情感态度：根据小学高年级阶段学生的特点，引导他们在英语学习过程中更大限度发挥自主学习能力，积极主动地进行英语学习，更好地激发他们英语学习的兴趣。

（2）学习策略：学习过程中注意培养学生合作学习的态度和方法，有效利用学生用书中设计的Pair work 、Group work、Talk and draw 以及Task time部分，培养学生合作学习的意识。

二、教学目标1.知识目标(1)学习并掌握句型who’s your ____teacher? Mr. /Miss……What’s he/she like? He/She is____and _____.(2)学习并掌握用于描述人物外貌特征的一些形容词如young ,funny, tall, strong, kind, oldshort, thin.2.能力目标（1）学生能够运用who’s your ____teacher? Mr. /Miss……What’s he/she like? He/She is ____and _____.这一句型来谈论和描述自己的老师以及其他人物的外貌特征。

（2）培养学生使用英语与他人进行交流的能力，提高学生的英语口语水平。

3. 情感目标（1）激发学生学习英语的兴趣，调动学生的学习积极性，引导学生积极与他人合作，在活动中培养学生的协作精神和竞争意识。

（2）要求学生平时多观察老师，家长，同学，培养师生感情，也要求学生学会尊重人。

三、教学重点本课时的教学重点是Let’s learn部分的单词：old，short thin，tall，strong, young, funny, kind以及Let’s Talk部分的对话，要求学生能听懂句型，并结合这些句子表达的情境，学会恰当地替换句中的单词。

逐步学会听、说、读、写单词：old，short，thin，tall，strong以及运用所学句型与他人进行对话和交流。

四、教学难点本课时的教学难点是如何利用所提供的对话和情景，以旧引新，让学生进入学习状态，从而掌握句型Who’s your _______teacher? Mr. /Miss…… What’s he/she like? He/She is ……..五、课前准备教师准备教学过程中所需要的图片、声音、课件，以和本课时的八张单词卡。

2、课件展示tall/short/strong/funny/thin/smart/strict/quiet/active/kind 画面,让学生说出相应单词,并用该单词说句。

3、用山羊顶角的形式检测学生已学反义词的掌握。

(二)呈现新知1、通过principal,引出Let's talk。

2、利用图片学习新单词lady,并加以颜色区分lady/ man, she/ he及对应的运用。

3、让学生展示'Who's?He's/ She's'句型问答,操练一般疑问句"Is he/she '及肯定、否定回答。

4、Lets say展示三幅图及主要对话句型,小组内对话,展示并找出相应的图画。
