10月1日是我国的国庆节，每逢国庆佳节，各企事业单位都会挂起灯笼或横幅来庆祝国庆。
1949年12月3日，中央人民政府委员会第四次会议接受全国政协的建议，通过了《关于中华人民共和国国庆日的决议》，决定每年10月1日为中华人民共和国宣告成立的伟大日子，为中华人民共和国国庆日。
新中国成立之后，根据中国人民政治协商会议的决定，把阅兵列为国庆大典的一项重要内容。
October 1st is China's National Day. Every National Day, enterprises and institutions
will hang lanterns or banners to celebrate the National Day.
On December 3, 1949, the fourth session of the Central People's Government
Committee accepted the proposal of the National Committee of the Chinese
People's Political Consultative Conference and adopted the Resolution on the
National Day of the People's Republic of China. It was decided that October 1st of
each year would be the great day when the People's Republic of China was
proclaimed and the National Day of the People's Republic of China.
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, according to the decision of
the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the military parade was listed
as an important part of the National Day ceremony.
