The Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayan Ta),is a Buddhistpagoda built in 652 AD during

the Tang Dynasty and originally had five stories.The original construction of

rammed earth with a stone exterior facade eventually collapsed five decades later

1 Xi'an Introduction

Xi'an, the capital of Shaanxi Province, is one of the oldest

cities in China with a history spanning over 3,000 years. As

one of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China, it has been

the capital of 13 dynasties, including the Zhou, Qin, Han, and

Tang, and played a vital role in the development and evolution

of Chinese civilization. With its rich history and cultural

heritage, Xi'an has become a popular tourist destination and

northwest region of China.
