2.使学生掌握词汇:experience, cause, occur, strike, etc.语言技能目标:1.使学生学会克服生词障碍,通过略读,寻找文章的主题句,理清文章的总体框架与脉络;通过查读,捕捉文章的重要细节,理解作者的写作意图。
2.使学生学会运用各种猜词技巧,猜测部分生词在具体语言环境中的含义。
3.使学生通过小组活动,提高共同合作的能力。
(二)情感态度与文化意识目标:1.使学生学会关心他人,富于同情心。
2.使学生明白珍惜当下的生活。
教学重点与难点:(一)重点1.侧重培养学生对文章的整体性结构的把握,突出培养学生以下三个方面的能力:a. 文章中心把握能力。

三、设计思想根据新课标的要求,在课堂教学中,以学生为中心进行教学,教师在教学中起主导作用。
因此我采用任务型教学方式,每一部分都设有一定的任务,引导学生自主或者合作完成。
阅读活动由整体入手,由易到难,步步推进,层层深入。
整个教学活动以教材为载体,以学生为中心,学生参与活动贯穿始终,学生既有个人活动,又有小组活动和班级活动。
