教材分析 本模块以健康为话题，主课文对话以看病为主题，涉及病情描述和治疗建议，除了语言学习外，还包括了健康生活的内容，传达了“健康生活离不开运动”的主题。这一设计有利于教师设置情境，开展真实交际。本模块是在初一上册“healthy food”的基础上的延伸，有为初三下册的安全与救护做下了铺垫，起到了承上启下的作用。本模块的知识结构在前两模块的基础上继续学习现在完成时的延续性。

学情分析 八年级的学生由于有了七年级的学习，在知识的积累和学习能力上都有了较大的提高，但还有相当一部分学生尤其是男生，对英语不太感兴趣，思想懒散，注意力分散。因此在教学过程中，应注重启发引导，多鼓励，少批评；注重教学方法的灵活性，通过任务型教学法、情景交际法、小组分工合作法等，激发学生学习的兴趣，让学生乐于接受，易于接受。

模块教学目标 知识目标：

1.掌握并运用重点短语：have a fever; ( cough; headache;

stomach ache; toothache)。

2.掌握询问病情和诉说病情的语言结构。

能力目标：

1.能运用这些语言框架，进行医患角色的扮演。

2.能针对不健康的生活习惯，给出恰当的建议。

1.能够检查自身的生活习惯，对于存在的问题能主动寻求解决方

案。

2.能够与他人讨论健康习惯上存在的问题，积极提出建议。

3.能够意识到生活习惯不同的人群持有不同的健康观念。

教学背景分析和学前预测 在本学期第八模块（Module 8 Accidents），学生已经学过面对交通事故的突发事件该如何处理，并且在前面第十、第十一模块中已经学了情态动词的用法，所以已经有了谈论事故话题的一定基础，本节课学生需要运用所有的知识，增加急救知识，并且要准确地表达出来。由于部分急救知识表达方式比较难，学生需要有较扎实的基础，以及教师足够的提示和引导，才能准确流利表达自己处理紧急情况的方法。 教学过程
