Technical guidelinesTechnical guidelines1. Introduction介绍CRONOS的目标是向客户提供品质集装箱为了达到到这目标，CRONOS从1981年开始使用高品质corten钢来制造集装箱，并且检验人员全程执行质量控制。
为了保证每个箱子箱况良好，在退租的时候对每个集装箱区别对待，决定是修理还是退役。
在合适的时候使集装箱退役能减少修理费用和保证提供高品质的集装箱。
由于估价是集装箱是否退役是重要依据，故估价准确非常重要。
为此，堆场的估价人员要非常熟悉CRONOS的要求，因此相关人员平时要多了解CRONOS的要求。
2. IICL damage and cleaning IICL损坏和清冼2.2 堆场报价人员必须熟悉IICL操作手册，只有有IICL相关证书人员方能从事报价。
2.3 对于损坏只有通过测量才能决定是否达到IICL标准，无论经验多么丰富，也不可能仅凭经验准确判断变形是否达到标准2.4 选择最经济有效但是对原来材料破坏性最小的修理方式3. Markings and labels标志3.1 CRONOS自己的标记退租的时候不需要去除。
3.2 所有的ISO标志需与IICL手册保持一致，当无法辨认的时候需要更换，若只是损坏但可以辨认则不需要修理3.3 内部的箱号和IC标（铁路标）损坏是不需要修理的，同时仅高箱高度标的需要修理（意思是平箱不用）。
3.4 需要更换的同一种标记应放到一个项目里面，而不是按每个面分开开。
3.5 需要去除的承租人标志也是合起来放到一个项目里面4. Old items—老伤4.1 CRONOS的退租指示里面有箱子的起租日期，用来区分费用的归属4.2 如果损坏项目相对起租时间来说是明显很老的损坏，费用算WT4.3 Please note however, that if the container was on-hired by direct interchange (D/I), the off-hire LESSEE isresponsible for ALL OLD items.但请注意，如果箱子是直接转租的，那么退租客户对所有的老伤项目负责Technical guidelines5. IR's5.1 CRONOS接受退租时不影响结构强度的IR修理，因此此类IR无须重新修理。
5.2 特别注意：这不是说退租堆场也可以IR修理5.3 总之，对于板这一类非关键部位的一定程度的不到位的修理是可以接受的，但是承租构件比如角柱梁的修理不到位的是不可以接受的。
5.4 不可接受的IR需要在估价单表示出来5.5 CRONOS没有办法列举出所有的可接受IR，而只能给出基本的判断原则，估价人员需要根据这些原则和经验来作出判断。
5.6 It should be remembered that every repair DAMAGES the container. Always consider whether re-working the IR‘swill make any real improvement. 对于任何需要重新处理的IR，要看是否实质性改进。
5.7 Determine if re-work is necessary according the following IR inspection criteria (see 6), NOT according to whohas to pay. Cronos does not expect the Lessee to pay for re-working IR‘s which Cronos would not accept if the IR were an OLD UR.对于IR是否修理是根据下面6节的的标准，而不是谁支付费用。
CRONOS不希望承租人承担明显老的IR修理的费用。
5.8 UR‘s must be allocated to either DAM or W&T depending on whether the UR was performed during or before thelease period (see 4.2).对于承租人修理产生的IR需要区分是不是在起租期间产生的，还是在起租之前就有了。
6. IR inspection criteria—IR检验标准Technical guidelines7. Food-grade standards（没针对中国区，略过）7.1 In locations such as Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and Ireland, it is necessary for us to ‗grade‘ containers tolocal ‗food-grade‘ standards when estimating.7.3 If specifically instructed to by Cronos (e.g. Australia and New Zealand), the additional cleaning items necessaryto upgrade the container should be estimated. These items must be CLEARLY MARKED as a FOODGRADE item, and allocated to CRONOS a/c.8. Floor contamination地板污染8.1 In the case of heavy contamination where it is obvious that cleaning the floor will not be possible, the floor mustof course be estimated for replacement.若地板重度污染，无法清冼则必须换地板8.2 It is often the case however that special, chemical, or repeated steam cleaning is able to remove contaminationsuccessfully. In such cases it is in everyone‘s interest to attempt to clean the container first and avoid replacing floors unnecessarily, but it is normally very difficult to predict if the cleaning process will be successful.通常污染可以通过化学药水和数次蒸气冼清除，每个人都希望清冼而不是更换地板，但是有时很难去判断是否可以清冼彻底。
8.3 Under these circumstances, an appropriate cleaning method should be estimated and a comment should bemade on the estimate to make it clear that an ―ADDITIONAL ESTIMATE MAY FOLLOW IF CLEANING IS UNSUCCESSFUL‖.在这种情况下，可对清冼这一条添加备注：若清洗不成功可能需要其它的修理方法8.4 When authorisation is received for containers with this comment noted on the estimate, the CLEANING ONLYshould be carried out first and the result reported to Cronos BEFORE ANY FURTHER REPAIRS are undertaken.If special cleaning is unsuccessful, an additional estimate should be sent to Cronos and the Lessee without delay.当这种类型的箱子批复后，堆场需要先尝试清冼，若无法清冼彻底，需要立即向CRONOS和承租人发送另外合适修理方法的估价单Note:SEE SECTION 9 AND SEE 11.7 TO 11.10 IN RESPECT TO CONTAMINATION OF INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR PANELS.Technical guidelines9. Interior paint system 内部油漆系统9.1 Cronos policy is to lease containers in good condition to our customers. As such, the guideline for interiorrepainting is based on COSMETIC considerations.CRONOS的目标是向客户提供良好状态的集装箱，因此，内部的美观也是考虑因素。
∙ T here is an "acceptable" level of rust, paint damage or staining which requires NO ACTION.一定程度的锈蚀油漆损伤和污渍是可以接受的∙ Re-paint if the interior is not in REASONABLE and PRESENTABLE condition.对于超出正常的损伤是需要重新油漆的9.2 Clean, Paint over, Clean & paint, Grind & paint, Spot blasting and full Refurbishing are all acceptable repairmethods for the interior panels. The appropriate method should be chosen according to the condition found.清冼，油漆，清冼后油漆，翻新都是可以接受的修理方式，根据不同的情况选择合适的修理方法。
9.3 If paint-work is scratched, it is only necessary to remove the worst rust areas by grinding or "spot" blasting to aminimum "commercial" surface condition Swedish standard SA 2, in order to ensure good paint adhesion.对于刮伤需要油漆，仅需要去除锈蚀最严重的区域，可以采用打磨或清冼等最经济的表面处理方法，只要达到瑞典SA2保证油漆的附着力。
