I had spent weeks making him a big poster with all his favorite superheroes on it. I was pretty proud of my artwork.Mom drove me over to Johnny's house at 10am. There were already a bunch of kids there when I arrived. Johnny's mom hadrented a huge bounce house that took up almost their entire backyard! We ALL went crazy as soon as we saw it.For the next two hours, we bounced and bounced until we were exhausted. We played games like dodgeball and cannon ball contests in the bounce house. At one point, I tried to do a flip but landed right on my butt. It was really sore but I tried not to cry in front of my friends.After the bounce house fun, we went inside for pizza and cake. Johnny's cake was in the shape of a racecar and it was awesome. We all sang "Happy Birthday" to him before devouring the chocolate frosting. Once our bellies were full, it was time for presents.Johnny loved the superhero poster I made him. "This is so cool!" he told me. I was relieved he liked it. Then we all played some video games in Johnny's room until our parents came to pick us up later that afternoon. I was worn out after such an exciting day!On Sunday morning, I slept in until 9am. I was pretty tired from Johnny's party. When I finally woke up, I put on my bathing suit because we were going to the community pool.At the pool, I met up with some other kids from my class. We spent hours swimming around and playing pool games. My favorite was trying to walk on the bouncy floor at the deep end. I could only make it a few steps before falling in with a huge splash!For lunch, my dad grilled up some hamburgers and hotdogs. We had a little picnic on the pool deck. After lunch, they had a big inflatable waterslide set up on the lawn next to the pool. We all took turns going down it over and over again. The waterslide was so fast that I got stuck at the bottom a few times from going too fast!As the afternoon went on, I started to get a little sunburned since I forgot to put on more sunscreen. My shoulders were pretty pink by the time we left at 4pm. Even with the sunburn, I had such a great day at the pool.That night for dinner, we got take-out pizza since no one felt like cooking after being out in the sun all day. My little brother and I got to pick the movie we watched - we chose The Lion King since it's one of our favorites. We turned off all the lights and cuddled up on the couch to watch it.Before going to bed, I remembered it was my last weekend before school started again tomorrow. I felt a little sad thatsummer was over, but I had made so many amazing memories. I couldn't wait to tell my class all about my fun-filled weekend!篇2My Last WeekendLast weekend was the best weekend ever! It started on Friday after school. I was so excited because my best friend Timmy was coming over to spend the night. Mom picked us up from school and we raced home.First, we had a snack of chocolate chip cookies that Mom had baked. They were still warm and gooey and delicious! Then we went outside to play. We rode our bikes all around the neighborhood. We raced down the big hill near my house. I won some races and Timmy won some too. It was a tie!After we got tired of riding bikes, we played zombies in the backyard. I was the zombie first and Timmy had to try to sneak past me to get into the house without me tagging him. He's really fast so it took me a long time to finally get him! Then he was the zombie and I was so scared every time he jumped out from behind a bush or tree. We were running around laughing and screaming like crazy kids.When we came inside, Mom had pizza waiting for us for dinner. It was my favorite - pepperoni! We watched a movie and ate our pizza on the floor in the living room. After the movie, we had a big bowl of ice cream with sprinkles and chocolate syrup. We had so many treats, but Mom said it was okay since it was a special sleepover night.Finally it was time for bed, but Timmy and I weren't tired at all. We got into our pajamas and sleeping bags in my room. We told scary stories with just the flashlight on, making monster sounds and jumping out to scare each other. We laughed so hard every time one of us got the other good. I don't even know what time we finally fell asleep!The next morning, we woke up super early because we were too excited. We tiptoed out to the living room and turned on cartoons without waking up my parents. Mom made us chocolate chip pancakes when she got up. They were just as good as the cookies from the day before.After breakfast, Timmy's dad came to pick him up. We begged them to let him stay another night but they said no. So we spent the rest of the morning playing outside again since it was such a nice day. We went exploring in the woods behind myhouse, looking for cool bugs and plants. We even found a creek and got our shoes all muddy when we walked through it. Oops!Too soon, it was time for Timmy to leave. We made plans for him to come over again the next weekend. I gave him a big hug goodbye and felt a little sad as I watched him get into his dad's car and drive away. But I was already counting down the days until Friday night when the fun would start again!The rest of the day I just kinda lazed around the house resting up from my busy weekend. I played some video games, watched TV, and read comics. That night Mom made my favorite meal of chicken nuggets and French fries for dinner since she felt bad that Timmy had to leave early.All in all, it was an awesome weekend! I got to do so many fun things with my best bud. We played hard, ate lots of junk food, stayed up way too late, and just acted like a couple of crazy kids without any rules. I made so many great memories that will last forever. I'm so lucky I got to have Timmy over and that we live close enough to each other to have sleepovers like that. Weekends like this last one are what being a kid is all about!篇3My Last WeekendLast weekend was the best weekend ever! It was so fun and exciting. I didn't want it to end. Let me tell you all about it!On Friday after school, my mom picked me up and she had a big surprise for me. She said we were going on a little trip! I was so happy and couldn't wait to find out where we were going. My little sister was with us too and she was really excited as well.When we got home, my dad was waiting with our suitcases already packed. "We're going to the beach house for the weekend!" he announced with a big smile. The beach house is my favorite place in the whole world. I started jumping up and down cheering. My sister and I absolutely love the beach.We hopped in the car and started driving. It takes a few hours to get to the beach house, but I didn't mind at all. I just stared out the window watching the trees and buildings go by. About halfway there, we stopped to get some happy meals at McDonald's for dinner. After we ate, I fell asleep in the backseat.When I woke up, we had arrived! I could smell the salty ocean air as soon as I opened the car door. We stayed at a little blue beach house right by the water. My sister and I raced upstairs to pick our room. I got the bedroom with the twin beds this time!Once we were all unpacked, my dad said "Who wants to go for a walk on the beach?" We all raised our hands super high. So we put on our swimsuits and headed out. The beach was beautiful like always. The sun was just starting to set, making the sky look orange and pink. I loved the feeling of the warm sand between my toes as we strolled along.Up ahead, I saw a family flying a kite, so I asked my dad if we could do that too. He said we didn't have a kite with us, but we could build a sandcastle instead! My sister and I thought that was an even better idea. We found the perfect spot and got to work. We piled up lots of damp sand, molded it into tall towers, and dug a deep moat all around it. Our sandcastle turned out awesome! We didn't want to leave it, but finally had to when it got too dark outside.We walked back to the beach house, and my mom had a yummy dinner waiting for us of fish sticks and french fries. After we ate, we got our swimsuits back on and my dad took us in the hot tub on the back patio. We stayed in for a long time, watching the stars twinkle in the night sky. I felt so cozy and warm. When we went inside to get ready for bed, I could barely keep my eyes open. What an amazing first day!The next morning, we woke up pretty late since we were all so tired from the day before. We had pancakes for breakfast, then immediately put our swimsuits on and headed to the beach. The weather was perfect - sunny and hot, but not too hot.We spent pretty much all day at the beach. My dad showed me and my sister how to skim board this time. It was hard at first, but eventually we got the hang of it. We also just played in the waves for hours. My mom read a book while keeping an eye on us. For lunch, we had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches that my mom packed.Right before we left in the late afternoon, my dad took me and my sister out into deeper water and we learned how to boogie board for the first time! It was a little scary at first to be out so far, but I ended up totally loving it. We took turns riding the waves all the way to the shore.When we got back to the beach house, we hosed all the sand off in the backyard and went inside to clean up for dinner. My dad fired up the grill and made hamburgers and hot dogs. We ate outside on the patio as the sun went down. After dinner, we had s'mores around the fire pit! I had as many s'mores as I could eat - they're so gooey and delicious.On Sunday morning, I woke up sad knowing we had to leave that day. But we still had a few more fun hours left! We ate a quick breakfast of cereal and fruit, then my mom helped my sister and I collect a ton of seashells on the beach one last time. I found some beauties that I kept in a little bucket to take home.Too soon, it was time to pack up and head home. I didn't want to leave! The weekend had gone by way too fast. But my dad promised we would come back to the beach house soon. I gave the beach one last big hug, inhaling the salty sea breeze. Then we piled into the car and began the drive home. I held my seashells close and couldn't stop thinking about what an unbelievable weekend it had been. Definitely one I'll never forget!篇4My Last WeekendLast weekend was the best weekend ever! It was so much fun from start to finish. I had been looking forward to it for weeks and weeks.On Friday after school, I raced home as fast as I could. I burst through the front door yelling "The weekend is here! The weekend is here!" My little brother was already home and hecame running up to me all excited too. We did a special weekend dance we made up, jumping around like crazy people.Mom laughed at us and said "Okay crazies, go get changed out of your school clothes so we can get going." We cheered and ran to our rooms. We had been counting down the days until our family weekend trip to the lake and it was finally here!Once we were all ready, we piled into the car with our snacks, games, pillows, and backpacks stuffed with stuff to do. Dad started driving and put on one of his old rock CDs that he loves. Me and my brother made faces at each other in the backseat whenever a really bad song came on.After what felt like forever, we finally arrived at the lake. We were staying at a cute little cabin right on the water. As soon as the car stopped, me and my brother flung open the doors and raced out. We ran straight down to the lake, kicking off our shoes and going splashing right in. The water was freezing cold but we didn't care one bit!"Boys! Get back here and help unload the car!" Dad shouted at us. We pulled our wet selves out of the water and grabbed as many bags and coolers as we could carry inside the cabin. It was so cozy with wooden walls, squashy sofas, and a fireplace. Out the big windows, we could see the sparkling blue lake.Once everything was unpacked, we got into our swimsuits and headed back down to the water. Dad showed us how to bait a hook and cast a fishing line. I wasn't too interested in catching any fish but my brother spent hours trying. The only thing he caught was a couple weeds! We took a break to have a picnic lunch Mom packed of sandwiches, chips, and cookies.In the afternoon, we went for a long hiking trail through the woods surrounding the lake. We looked for cool bugs, animals, and mushrooms along the way. We saw a deer emerging from the trees in the distance! On the hike back, I got tired so Dad gave me a piggyback ride for the last little stretch.When we got back to the cabin, we were dusty and sweaty. We all took turns having showers to clean up. For dinner, Dad barbecued hamburgers and we had a campfire cookout. We roasted marshmallows for s'mores and I somehow managed to get melty chocolate and sticky marshmallow all over my face, hands, and clothes. Such a mess!That night after the campfire, we put on our pajamas and curled up together on the sofas. Dad read us some spooky stories from an old book he brought. The howls of coyotes from outside made the stories even more creepy and scary! When it was finally time for bed, none of us wanted to go walking alonein the dark to our bedroom. We dragged all the sleeping bags and pillows out to the living room and had a huge sleepover party right there.The next morning, I woke up early with the sunrise peeking through the windows. I watched the mist rising off the lake while I waited for everyone else to wake up too. When they did, Mom made us all a big stack of pancakes with fresh blueberries we picked ourselves from the bushes outside. She let us have strawberry syrup and whipped cream too- such a treat!We spent the rest of the morning just hanging around the lake. We went canoeing together and tried skipping rocks. My brother and I had competitions to see who could make theirs skip the farthest across the glassy surface. In the afternoon, we packed a cooler and all our beach stuff and found the perfect sunny spot to go swimming and lay out on our towels. We splashed around in the water having swimming races and seeing who could make the biggest splash. It felt like we spent hours and hours there soaking up the sun.Before we knew it, the weekend was over and it was time to pack up and head home. We dragged our feet and moved so slowly because we didn't want to leave. As we drove awaywaving bye to the lake, I already started dreaming about our next trip back. Weekends like this with my whole family arethe greatest times ever!篇5My Last WeekendLast weekend was the best weekend ever! It started on Friday after school. I was so excited because my best friend Timmy was coming over for a sleepover. We hadn't had a sleepover in forever because his parents were being really strict about his grades. But he finally brought his math grade up to a B so they said he could come over!When Timmy got to my house, we ran straight up to my room and I showed him my new video game I got for my birthday. It's called Battle Galaxies 5 and it's so awesome! You get to pick your own spaceship and crew and go on these crazy missions fighting alien robots. We played for a few hours taking turns until my mom called us down for dinner.After dinner, we went outside to play some soccer in the backyard. I was worried it might rain because the sky was looking pretty dark and grey. Sure enough, about halfway through our game, it started pouring! We didn't care though and just keptkicking the ball around, getting soaked. My dog Rufus was running around barking and playing too, getting just as muddy as us.When the rain finally stopped, we looked like a couple of swamp monsters covered in mud head to toe. My mom wouldn't even let us back in the house until we stripped off our filthy clothes on the porch and she sprayed us down with the garden hose! We were shivering like crazy but it was so much fun.Later that night after we finally got cleaned up, we made a big fort in the living room with blankets and couch cushions. We brought our sleeping bags inside and camped out in the fort, watching movies and pigging out on popcorn and candy until we crashed around midnight.The next morning, Timmy's dad came to pick him up bright and early because they had to go visit his grandma. Before he left though, we walked down to the park near my house. There was a cool carnival going on with rides, games, andlots of funnel cakes and cotton candy. We went on the Tilt-a-Whirl like five times until we thought we were going to puke!When Timmy had to go home, I was really bummed because the weekend was going by way too fast. For the rest of the day, I pretty much just lazed around playing my new video game andwatching TV. That night, my whole family went out for a fancy dinner at my favorite Mexican restaurant to celebrate my uncle's birthday. I stuffed myself withenchiladas, rice and beans, and like three bowls of chips and salsa.On Sunday, my parents let me sleep in until almost noon because I had stayed up so late the night before. When I finally woke up, we packed a cooler and all drove out to the lake for a picnic lunch. The weather was perfect and sunny. After we ate, I got to go swimming and practice my cannonballs off the dock. I loved doing cannonballs and trying to make the biggest splash possible. My dad said I was going tosink the entire lake if I kept it up!Too soon, it was getting dark and time to head home. We were all wiped out from being outdoors all day. I showered off the lake water and got into my PJs to veg out and get ready for school the next day. As I laid in bed that night, I thought about what an awesome weekend I had. Between the sleepover with Timmy, the carnival, restaurants, swimming at the lake, it was pretty much perfect! I couldn't wait for the next weekend to start...but I knew I had to get through five loooong days of school first. Oh well, at least I had made some great new memories to look back on!。
