经典美文英语初一篇1"Come in," God said to me,"so,you would like to interview Me?""If you have the time," I said.He smiled through His beard and said:"My time is called eternity and is enough to do everything;what questions do you have in mind to ask me?""None that are new to you. What's the one thing that surprises you most about mankind?"He answered:"That they get bored of being children, are in a rush to grow up,and then long to be children again. That they lose their health to make money and then lose their money to restore their health. That by thinking anxiously about the future, they forget the present, such that they live neither for the present nor the future. That they live as if they will never die,and they die as if they never had never lived..."His hands took mine and we were silent. After a long period,I said,"May I ask you another question?"He replied with a smile."As a Father, what would you ask your children to do for the new year?""To learn that they cannot make anyone love them. What they can do is to let themselves be loved. To learn that it takes years to build trust, and a few seconds to destroy it.To learn that what is most valuable is not what they have in their lives, but who they have in their lives. To learn that it is not good to compare themselves to others. There will be others better or worse than they are.To learn that a rich person is not one who has the most, but is one who needs the least. To learn that they should control their attitudes, otherwise their attitudes will control them.To learn that it only takes a few seconds to open profound wounds in persons we love, and that it takes many years to heal them.To learn to forgive by practicing forgiveness. To learn that there are persons that love them dearly, but simply do not know how to show their feelings. To learn that money can buy everything but happiness. To learn that while at times they may be entitled to be upset, that does not give them the right to upset those around them.To learn that great dreams do not require great wings, but a landing gear to achieve. To learn that true friends are scarce,he/she who has found one has found a true treasure. To learn that they are masters of what they keep to themselves and slaves of what they say.To learn that they shall reap what they plant;if they plant gossip they will harvest intrigues,if they plant love they willharvest happiness. To learn that true happiness is not to achieve their goals but to learn to be satisfied with what they already achieved. To learn that happiness is a decision. They decide to be happy with what they are and have,or die from envy and jealousy of what they lack.To learn that two people can look at the same thing and see something totally different. To learn that those who are honest with themselves without considering the consequences go far in life.To learn that even though they may think they have nothing to give, when a friend cries with them, they find the strength to appease the pain.To learn that by trying to hold on to love ones, they very quickly push them away;and by letting go of those they love, they will be side by side forever.经典美文英语初一篇2I’ve just come back from school, and I’m on my computer already! Throughout the colonial period there was a marked shortage of women, which varied with the regions and was always greatest in the frontier areas. This favorableratio enhanced women's status and position and allowed them to pursue different careers. The Puritans, the religious sect that dominated the early british colonies in North America, regarded idleness as a sin, and believed that life in an underdeveloped country made itabsolutely necessary that each member of the community perform an economic function. Thus work for women, married or single, was not only approved, it was regarded as a civic duty.Puritan town councils expected idows and unattached women to be self supporting and for along time provided needy spinsters with parcels of land. There was no social sanction againstmarried women working; on the contrary, wives were expected to help their husbands in theirtrade and won social approval for doing extra work in or out of the home. Needy children, girlsas well as boys, were indentured or apprenticed and were expected to work for their keep. The vast majority of women worked within their homes, where their labor produced mostarticles needed for the family. The entire colonial production of cloth and clothing and partiallythat of shoes was in the hands of women. In addition to these occupations, women werefound in many different kinds of employment. They were butchers, silversmiths, gunsmiths andupholsterers. They ran mills, plantations, tanyards, shipyards, and every kind of shop, tavern, and boardinghouse. They were gatekeepers, jail keepers, sextons, journalists, printers, apothecaries, midwives, nurses, and teachers.北美殖民时期的妇女北美殖民时期女性的社会地位曾得到过深入研究和描述,并可简短概括。

Don't go for wealth; even that fades away. Go forsomeone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright.Find the one that makes your heart smile.Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, becauseyou have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enoughsorrow to keep you human, enough hope to make you happy. The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the mostof everything that comes along their way.Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss and ends with a tear. The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past, you can't go on well in life untilyou let go of your past failuresand heartaches. When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life sothat when you die, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying.

1A crazy age, a sad past. Together, it's a picture of youth, and we're going to arrange them one by one.We live under the warmth of the wings, happiness, and no contentment. Be light of heart from care。
An unruly little fart child. No one really grows up or matured. It's all some of my own subjective ideas. In the eyes of the grown-up, I'm just a child, a bunch of ridiculous children.Sometimes, I despise myself in this generation of people, including me, we are too self all immersed in their own third of an acre. The land on the ground is a huge melon and fruit! Only after the incision is hollow. And intoxicated, do not consider the outside world, in the intoxication of the fruit in addition to the seeds. There is also the inner restlessness. Sensitivity and absurdity. We are also praiseworthy, and we have our own ideals. Is not everyone like this? Maybe it's a lot of ideal! When those unrealistic ideals are replaced, we disagree. It is ridiculous that it is regarded as the appreciation of his own interest. The last thing was frustration. Low. Self mockery. And what makes me nauseous what "non mainstream", I really think it even I scolded. I have even sought it. Try to imitate. God, I know now what I regret. I think I scolded myself if I scolded the non mainstream. No harm! I don't care who call, that is once. Those are dark. Decadent。

关于初一英语美文欣赏篇二The Best Kind of LoveI have a friend who is falling in love. She honestly claims the sky is bluer. Mozart moves her to tears. She has lost 15 pounds and looks like a cover girl."I’m young again!”she shouts exuberantly. As my friend raves on about her new love, I’ve taken a good look at my old one. My husband of almost 20 years, Scott, has gained 15 pounds. Once a marathon runner, he now runs only down hospital halls. His hairline is receding and his body shows the signs of long working hours and too many candy bars. Yet he can still give me a certain look across a restaurant table and I want to ask for the check and head home. When my friend asked me “What will make this love last?”I ran through all the obvious reasons: commitment, shared interests, unselfishness, physical attraction, communication. Yet there’s more. We still have fun. Spontaneous good times. Yesterday, after slipping the rubber band off the rolled up newspaper, Scott flipped it playfully at me: this led to an all-out war. Last Saturday at the grocery, we split the list and raced each other to see who could make it to the checkout first. Even washing dishes can be a blast. We enjoy simply being together. And there are surprises. One time I came home to find a note on the front door that led me to another note, then another, until I reached the walk-in closet. I opened the door to find Scott holding a “pot of gold”and the “treasure”ofa gift package. Sometimes I leave him notes on the mirror and little presents under his pillow. There is understanding. I understand why he must play basketball with the guys. And he understands why, once a year, I must get away from the house, the kids -and even him -to meet my sisters for a few days of nonstop talking and laughing. There is sharing. Not only do we share household worries and parental burdens - we also share ideas. Scott came home from a convention last month and presented me with a thick historical novel. Though he prefers thrillers and science fiction, he had read the novel on the plane. He touched my heart when he explained it was because he wanted to be able to exchange ideas about the book after I’d read it.There is forgiveness. When I’m embarrasssingly loud and crazy at parties, Scott forgives me. When he confessed losing some of our savings in the stock market, I gave him a hug and said, “It’s okay. It’s only money.”There is sensitivity. Last week he walked through the door with that look that tells me it’s been a tough day. After he spent some time with the kids, I asked him what happened. He told me about a 60-year-old woman who’d had a stroke. He wept as he recalled the woman’s husband standing beside her bed, caressing her hand. How was he going to tell this husband of 40 years that his wife would probably never recover? I shed a few tears myself. Because of the medical crisis. Because there were still people who have been married 40 years. Because my husband is still moved and concerned after years of hospital rooms and dying patients. There is faith. Last Tuesday a friend came over and confessed her fear that her husband is losing his courageous battle with cancer. On Wednesday I went to lunch with a friend who is struggling to reshape her life after divorce. On Thursday a neighbor called to talk about the frightening effects of Alzheimer’s disease on her father-in-law’s personality. On Friday a childhood friend called long-distance to tell me her father had died. I hung up the phone and thought, this is too much heartache for one week. Through my tears, as I went out to run some errands, I noticed the boisterous orange blossoms of the gladiolus outside my window. I heard the delighted laughter of my son and his friend as they played. I caught sight of a wedding party emerging from a neighbor’s house. Thebride, dressed in satin and lace, tossed her bouquet to her cheering friends. That night, I told my husband about these events. We helped each other acknowledge the cycles of life and that the joys counter the sorrows. It was enough to keep us going. Finally, there is knowing. I know Scott will throw his laundry just shy of the hamper every night; he’ll be late to most appointments and eat the last chocolate in the box. He knows that I sleep with a pillow over my head; I’ll lock us out of the house at a regular basis, and I will also eat the last chocolate.I guess our love lasts because it is comfortable. No, the sky is not bluer: it’s just a familiar hue. We don’t feel particularly young: we’ve experienced too much that has contributed to our growth and wisdom, taking its toll on our bodies, and created our memories.I hope we’ve got what it takes to make our love last. As a bride, I had Scott’s wedding band engraved with Robert Browning’s line “Grow old along with me!”We’re following those instructions.“If anything is real, the heart will make it plain.”关于初一英语美文欣赏篇三Your Happiness, YourResponsibility"You are the only one who can make you happy." We have all heard that so many times in our lives. There are times it is a pretty tough pill to swallow. In reality, the people that surround you have a huge impact on your current mood. When your children are grumpy in the morning, you find a nice pile the dog left you over night, you hit the road and the traffic won't allow you your normal speed, then when you get to work and your co-worker called in sick... these are all things that might contribute to your overall Happiness of the day. However, moods and temporary emotions are not the same as happiness. Happiness exists when you look at the overall picture of your life and you smile, that is happiness. You know those times when you can't wait for your children to go to bed, then later you check on the kids and you almost cry because they look exactly like angels... YOUR ANGELS, sleeping so sweetly and soundly. You can hardly remember a time of irritation with them. That is Happiness. As life progresses and changes, we realize that who we are, ... that is what we are responsible for. We know thatimmediate gratification or irritation only pacifies or deteriorates our emotional stimuli short term. Our global view of how we see ourselves determines our state of mind. Our state of mind determines our Happiness. So, how do we take control of our emotions and find the path of Happiness? This seems to be the million dollar question. There are tons of books on or related to the subject. You could read and practice until you are completely confused. Or, we could spend the rest of our life introspectively evaluating what makes us happy. Which might take more time and energy and actually frustrate us more. How about this? What if we looked at ourselves and decided what we liked and didn't like and set about making changes. It doesn't have to be major alterations. Maybe you are tired of your house but can't afford to move. Try painting the living room or buying flowers to set on the kitchen table. If you haven't had a vacation for awhile and just can't afford to take that cruise, go camping instead.Maybe the issues are more personal or internal. Do you get mad too easily? Learn yoga or meditation. Are you having marital problems? Visit a counselor. Are the kids havingdiscipline issues? Determine the major issues, establish guidelines on how you are going to correct the problem and stick to it.You may be saying, 'Sure, that sounds so easy but...' Of course it sounds easy. Problems are always easier to talk about than to take the obvious actions to fix them. But, for the most part, things are as difficult or as easy as we determine them to be. Sometimes we just make things harder than necessary. If your unHappiness stems from a situation beyond your control then find other ways to compensate. If, for example, money is so tight and no apparent windfall is coming your way any time soon, find inexpensive entertainment. Backyard ballgames, picnics in the park, movie night with popcorn and snacks in your bedroom are a few alternatives to an expensive night out. If the issues are more serious and you feel powerless, that is the time to seek professional help.Otherwise, look in the mirror and be glad. If you don't like what you see, change it. Make the solution that simple!。
