Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a composition on the topic Issues on Weight Reducing. You should write at least 150 words following the outline given below in Chinese:1. Issues on Weight ReducingNowadays the people are enjoying a more comfortable life and many people are suffering from obesity. Thus, losing weight becomes very popular. However, weight reducing is a tricky topic. Some people lose weight quickly by crash dieting or other extreme measures. This will not help them lose weight since they usually gain back all (and often more) of the pounds theylost because they haven’t permanently changed their habit s. What’s worse, sometimes these extreme measures will affect the individual’s health. In my view, before one decides to lose weight, he first of all should make it clear whether he should or not lose weight. The best way to find out if you are at a healthy weight or if you need to lose or gain weight is to talk to adoctor or dietitian. He or she can compare your weight with healthy norms to help you set realistic goals. If it turns out that you would benefit from weight loss then you can follow a few of the simple suggestions which are widely accepted by weight reducing experts to get it started.【篇二】2020年9月大学英语四级话题作文赏析Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a composition on the topic Information Security. You should write at least 150 words following the outline given below in Chinese:1. Information SecurityThe human beings are stepping into the information society. The information industry develops increasingly, so do the hackers, trick-playing teens, exploring children, fraudsters, and serious white-collar criminals. Thus, information security becomes an impending important issue. In case of information breach, the victims — a government department, an organization or an institution, or a company, will inevitably suffer great or small loss. Government may be threatened with national security. Companies may lose opportunities to develop new projects. And the public’s and users? confidence will be damaged. Then how to deal with this issue? Technology is only a partial solution to information security. What’s more important is that organizations and companies should promote the awareness on information security to its staff. However, since no system can ever be 100 percent secure, a prevention-only approach to information security management is not enough. Companies and organizations should adopt a dual approach to information security management by combining prevention and detection techniques.【篇三】2020年9月大学英语四级话题作文赏析Computers in Students’ Flats1. Computers in Students’ FlatsNowadays, an increasing number of students’ flats have computers installed in them. Computer presents a vivid world in front of students. But there is no agreement among people concerning the effects of computers in students’ flats. Some people contend that computers in students’ apartments will have a bad influence on their study. Influenced by each other, students will become indulged in computer games or surfing the Internet without paying more attention on study. However, others maintain that computers in students’ apartments will promote their study. If theyencounter some problems about study, they can log on the Internet and search for related information without going to ask for their teachers frequently. For my part, it is the most important thing for students to make proper use of the computers in dorms. While students enjoy the convenience of computers, they should be alert to problems of computers. Addicted to playing games or surfing aimlessly on the Internet will do much harm. Otherwise, any attempt to use computer for study will end up as nothing but an empty dream.。

Consequently ,people are getting more opportunities to speak or meet another language but their own mother tongue with the development of the economy. Undoubtedly , an app of translation is crucial for people who cannot handle the language perfectly. But the viewpoints are split one whether this kind of apps are wholly a good thing.Where there is a light , there is a shadow. Some people argue that a translation app will bridge them with the native speakers adequately no matter who will be a traveler or a businessman. It will pose a huge threat for people who can not understand what they say. Fortunately , everyone will interact richly with the apps like this. On the other hand, some people think that the translations app cannot fully create and convey the feelings on the authentic language. As a result , it will bring more misunderstandings. Besides, the opponents take the point of view that people will be more over-reliant on the mobile-phones and Internet. From where I stand , I would take the the translation on this kind of apps as a reference rather than a kind of dependence. The most effective and beneficial way to express yourself and communicate with a foreigner is to improve one’s ability to exert this unfamiliar language. As an old saying goes is Practice makes perfect.

2020年12月英语四级作文范文(新东方版卷一)2020年12月英语四级作文范文(新东方版卷一)For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write an essay commenting on the saying “Learning is a daily experience and a lifelong mission。
” You can cite examples to illustrate the importance of lifelong learning。
You should write at least 120 words, no more than 180 words。
Currently in this constantly changing world, learning becomes a seemingly convenient but actually more complex matter。
As an old saying goes,” Learning is a daily experience and a lifetime mission”。
Apparently, the meaning of this saying is that if we truly desire to learn something, we are supposed to devote our life to it。
There are several reasons accounting for this viewpoint。
For one thing, learning itself is an actually complicated and painful matter, and as a result, it is advisable for us to commit much more time even our whole life to it。
English:In September 2020, the topic of the four-level exam essay was "Should we emphasize ability or attitude in education?" When it comes to education, both ability and attitude play important roles in shaping individuals. While ability is often seen as the foundation for success in academic and professional fields, attitude is equally crucial in determining one's attitude towards learning and growth. Emphasizing ability can result in high academic achievements and skill acquisition, but without a positive attitude, individuals may struggle to face challenges and setbacks. On the other hand, focusing solely on attitude may lead to a lack of concrete skills and knowledge. Therefore, a balance between the two is essential in education. By emphasizing both ability and attitude, individuals can develop a strong foundation of skills while maintaining a positive mindset towards learning and personal development.
Suppose a foreign friend of yours is coming to visit your hometown, what is the most interesting place you would like to take him/her to see and why? I like to take him to visit to Beijing ,the capital city of China. Beijing is steeped in culture ,with a history of 3000 years .There are loads of monuments, in Beijing , like the fobidden city, the great wall and the summer palace . I am totally fascinated by its culture 。
I went to Beijing when I was in my primary school ,but it did not leave me a deep impression . Because I was too young to understand the Chinese historical culture and it was difficult for a littlechild to be interested in it. I just felt the weather in Beijing was hot ,also very dry and the roast duck was really delicious. But now I regret for not learning the knowledge of cultural heritages in Bejing at that time.I am planning to study abroad and I want to introduce a lot of interesting Chinese culture to foreigners . But in fact I do not know it clearly ,even many foreigners know more things about Beijing than I know . It makes me feel kind of embarrassed。
2020年四级作文真题解析——写作范文(第一篇)Learning is a daily experience and lifetime mission.Undoubtedly, learning is a daily experience and lifetime mission. For instance, Madam Curie, who conducted pioneering research on radioactivity and became the first woman to win a Nobel Prize, was known for her persistence in learning.Several reasons, both social and individual, could account for the importance of constant learning. Firstly, in an age of ruthless and relentless competition, only by learning constantly can we bring our potential and ability into full play and catch up with the times. Secondly, learning does not only help us acquire knowledge, but also enriches our lives and broadens our horizons. Thirdly, science and technology change with each passing day. Without constant learning, it would be impossible for us to update our knowledge.Accordingly, it is constant learning that really matters in achieving success in modern society. In my humble opinion, it is high time that parents and teachers made joint efforts to encourage children to read more books instead of playing computer games all day.。
1My Favorite Sport - BasketballHi everyone! My name is Emma and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to tell you all about my favorite sport, basketball! It's the best game ever and I love playing it with my friends.Basketball is a fun game where you have to throw a big orange ball through a high hoop. It's kind of like trying to put a watermelon through a toilet seat! The court has two hoops, one at each end, and there are lines marking where you can dribble and shoot from. There are two teams of five players each. You have to dribble the ball while running to the other team's hoop. But you can't run while holding the ball, you have to keep bouncing it. If you don't, it's a big no-no called "traveling" and the ref will blow his whistle at you. Whoops! The other team tries to steal the ball from you or block your shots. It's totally allowed to swat the ball out of someone's handsas long as you don't hurt them. You get points for making baskets - 2 points for short ones and 3 points for long ones behind the curved line.My favorite part is rebounding! That's when someone shoots and misses, and you have to jump up and grab the ball before the other team gets it. I'm not very tall yet but I'm a jumping bean so I can usually outjump the bigger kids.It takes a lot of teamwork and passing to move the ball down the court. You have to be careful not to commit fouls like pushing people over. But a little accidental contact is okay as long as you don't hurt anyone on purpose.Every team needs a coach to draw up cool plays and motivate the players. My coach is really nice and brings us snacks after games. He teaches us skills like dribbling, shooting, and defending. I want to be a coach someday! What I love most about basketball is how fast and exciting it is. Players are constantly running up and down the court, trying to score while the other team is scrambling to get the ball back. The scoring goes back and forth quick! There are so many rules to remember too - shot clock violations, out of bounds, double dribbling, and more. It takespractice but that's what makes it fun and challenging. You have to really know what you're doing. In the pros, there are two hoop leagues - the NBA for men and the WNBA for women. My favorite NBA player is Steph Curry because of his crazy 3-point shooting. For the WNBA, I love watching Candace Parker play - she's so powerful and skilled. Some of the most famous basketball moments ever include Michael Jordan's Air Jordan dunk from the free throw line, the US Dream Team dominating in 1992, and the historic Villanova basketball championship buzzer beater by Kris Jenkins. When I'm not playing basketball, I enjoy watching it on TV with my family. We get so excited, yelling at the players and refs even though they can't hear us! We always make game day snacks like nachos, hot dogs, and popcorn and my parents let me stay up late if it's a close game. After I graduate from college, I hope I can go pro or maybe coach a high school or college team if I'm not good enough. My backup plan is to pursue a basketball career as a referee, making all the tough calls during intense games. For now though, I'm just happy playing for my school's team and practicing on the driveway hoop at home. Sometimes theneighbors will stop and watch me shooting hoops and give me pointers. I'll keep working hard every day because practice makes progress! My dream is to play basketball in the Olympics for my country someday. Can you imagine standing on that podium, receiving a gold medal while your national anthem plays? I get chills just thinking about it. I'd be so proud to represent my country through the sport I love.Well, that's the story of my favorite sport, basketball! It has been called the greatest game on earth and I agree 100%. It teaches you teamwork, discipline, perseverance, and so many other important skills for life. Plus it's just super fun and gets your heart pumping.I really hope you'll give basketball a try if you haven't already. All you need is a ball and a hoop and you're good to go! Maybe I'll see you out on the courts or maybe even in the NBA or WNBA someday. Who knows? But for now, let's shoot some more hoops!篇2The College English Test was Big Trouble! I had to wake up super early on a Saturday morning. My mom made me eat a bigbreakfast to get energy for the test. There were lots of sections like listening, reading, and writing. The writing part was the worst! For the writing, we had to write a whole essay in English. The topic was "What are the benefits and drawbacks of living in the era of artificial intelligence?" That's a really hard question! I had to think really hard.First, I wrote about what artificial intelligence even is. Artificial intelligence or AI means really smart computer programs and robots that can think and learn like humans. Some AI can see things, hear sounds, talk, and make decisions. That's pretty cool if you ask me!Next, I talked about some good things AI can do. AI can help doctors treat sick people by looking at x-rays and test results. They never get tired so they don't make mistakes. AI robots can also work in dangerous places like mines or nuclear plants where it's not safe for humans.AI cars that can drive themselves are another benefit. The cars use sensors to see everything around them. They don't get distracted like human drivers. Self-driving cars could really cut down on accidents which would save lots of lives. But there are some bad points about too much AI too. AI is taking over lots of jobs that humans used to do. Factories use robot workers instead of people now. Even some office jobs like accounting are being done by AI software. That means fewer job opportunities for regular humans.Another downside is that advanced AI could get out of control. If AI programs get too smart, they might not want to follow human instructions anymore. That would be really dangerous if killer robot armies stopped listening to us! I've seen lots of movies about that.Speaking of movies, AI is also being used more and more to create fake videos or "deep fakes." These look totally real but the person in them didn't actually say or do those things. Deep fakes could be used to spread a lot of lies and misinformation.Privacy is the last big concern I wrote about. AI collects huge amounts of data by watching us, listening to us, and tracking what we do online. Companies use that private info to sell us stuff through targeted ads. That's how they already know what you searched for and can advertise those products to you on other sites. Creepy! In my conclusion, I said that AI will keep growing and impacting our lives more and more. We need to be careful andhave rules so that AI is developed in a safe, ethical, and controlled way. AI could be an amazing helper to humans if we're smart about using it right.Overall, I think my essay turned out pretty good! My teacher gave me a smiley face sticker. Writing in English is hard but I tried my best. Hopefully I did well on the whole test. Me and my friends去ed to get pizza after to celebrate being done with the big exam. What a day!篇3Title: My Unforgettable Summer VacationHi everyone! I'm so excited to tell you all about my summer vacation this year. It was the best summer ever! I went on a really fun trip with my family and had the most amazing adventures. It all started when school let out in June. My parents surprised me and my little brother by telling us we were going on a road trip! We were going to drive across the country and visit some of the most beautiful national parks in America. I had never been on a road trip before, so I was super thrilled. We packed up our trusty mini-van with all our gear - tents, sleeping bags, hiking backpacks and lots of snacks and gamesfor the drive. First up was the long 10-hour drive from our house in Ohio to the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. Even though it was a really long drive, it didn't feel that way because we played lots of road trip games like I Spy and 20 Questions. We also sang silly songs and told funny stories to pass the time. When we finally arrived at the Great Smoky Mountains, I was amazed at how tall and green the mountains were! We stayed at a cool campground right inside the park. We went hiking every day on the trails through the thick forests. I saw lots of interesting plants, birds and other wildlife. One day we even spotted a black bear from a distance! That was equal parts terrifying and awesome. After a few days, we drove further west to the amazing Grand Canyon in Arizona. Wow, the Grand Canyon is so huge and deep! The colors of the rocks are beautiful shades of red, orange and purple. We did a short hike part way into the canyon and I felt so tiny compared to the massive walls towering all around me. It was breathtaking. From the Grand Canyon, we headed to Utah to see three amazing parks there - Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park and Zion National Park. Each one had incredibly unique rock formations in all sorts of crazy shapes. In Arches, wewalked through a twisted arch taller than a house. In Canyonlands, the landscapes looked like they were from another planet - with giant orange pillars and jagged red canyons. And in Zion, we hiked up a narrow slot canyon with towering cliffs on both sides. Our final stop was Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. This park has so many cool geysers and hot springs everywhere. We saw the most famous one - Old Faithful - erupt and shoot boiling hot water like 100 feet into the air! We also saw herds of bison just walking around the park like they owned the place. At night, we made s'mores over the campfire and stargazed at the amazingly bright night skies you can only get out in nature like that.By the time our road trip ended, I had visited 6 different states and driven over 3,500 miles! I got to see so many incredible natural wonders and spend great quality time with my family. We took millions of photos and made memories that will last forever. It was the perfect summer vacation before starting a new school year. I feel so grateful and lucky to have had this amazing experience. I can't wait for my next big adventure!篇4My Awesome Day at the ParkHi friends! Today I'm going to tell you all about my super fun day at the park last weekend. It was the best day ever!On Saturday morning, I woke up really early because I was so excited. I had my breakfast quickly - just some cereal and milk. Then I got dressed in my favorite t-shirt with a dinosaur on it and my comfy jeans. I put on my sneakers too because I knew I'd be running around a lot at the park.My mom and dad and I piled into the car and headed to Sunny Park. It's not too far from our house, maybe a 10 minute drive. I was bouncing up and down in the backseat, I was so hyper! Finally we got there and I raced out of the car towards the playground. The playground at Sunny Park is awesome! It has so much fun stuff. There are swings and seesaws and a big circular merry-go-round that you can spin really fast. There's a jungle gym with curved ladders and tubes to crawl through. And the best part is the huge wavy slide that's bright yellow! I ran over and climbed up to the top immediately."Wheeeee!" I shouted as I zipped down the slide. It's so fast and fun! I climbed back up and went down again and again. Abunch of other kids were playing there too. We were all laughing and screaming with glee as we slid down over and over. After a little while, I got tired of the slide and went over to the swings. I love swinging super high up towards the sky! My dad pushed me on the swinds for a while until my legs were sore from kicking. The wind was blowing through my hair which felt so nice and refreshing. For a break, we walked over to the open grassy area of the park. My mom had packed a picnic lunch for us - sandwiches, apple slices, crackers, and juice boxes. We spread out our blanket and I munched happily while watching squirrels and birds running around. A cute little bunny even hopped by! I tried to creep up and pet it but it was too fast for me.After we ate, my dad challenge me to a race across the field. "On your mark, get set, go!" he shouted. I took off running as fast as my little legs could go, hair flying behind me. Dad let me win of course, but I was still so proud when I reached the tree he was running towards first. "I'm the fastest!" I cheered, jumping up and down.As the day started getting hotter, Mom suggested we go to the creek that winds through the park to cool off. We rolled up our pants and took off our shoes and socks to wade in theshallow waters. It was so refreshing! I splashed around, watching little minnows dart away from my feet. At one point, I accidentally stepped in a deeper pool and got my shorts all wet. Luckily it was warm enough to dry off quickly. After creek exploring, we stopped at a picnic table to rehydrate with fresh water bottles from the cooler. I was feeling sleepy from all the fun and exercise, so I cuddled up on the bench to rest for a bit.I must have dozed off because the next thing I knew, Mom was gently shaking me awake. "Did you have a good nap?" she asked with a smile. I rubbed my eyes and nodded shyly. She laughed and said we could go play one last game before heading home for dinner. For our final activity, we headed over to the baseball diamons. Dad and I played a modified game of catch while Mom watched from the bleachers. She didn't want to get hit by one of Dad's professional pitcher-level throws! Every time the ball came my way, I clenched my mitt tightly in concentration. I caught most of them, dropping just a few. Go me!By the time we finished our baseball back-and-forth, I was completely tuckered out. My cheeks were rosy red and I wasready to go home. The car ride back, I fell asleep again, dreaming about the wonderful day I'd had. When we got home, I ate a yummy dinner of chicken nuggets and french fries (my favorite!) while Mom and Dad laughed about how much energy I had expended at the park. After dinner, I took a nice warm bath to get cleaned up, then put on my cozy pajamas. Even though it was still early, I could barely keep my eyes open, so Mom read me a couple bedtime stories and I pretty quickly konked out for the night. What an awesome day at the park! I had so much fun playing on all the playground equipment, having a picnic, exploring nature, and playing sports with my family. I can't wait to go back again soon. The park is the best! I'm so lucky my mom and dad take me. Thanks for reading about my incredible day - I hope you get to go to the park soon too!篇5The Biggest Adventure of My Little LifeHi everybody! My name is Lily and I'm 8 years old. I just had the most exciting adventure ever and I can't wait to tell you all about it!Last summer, my parents surprised me and my little brother Tommy with a trip to Yellowstone National Park. I had learned about Yellowstone in school and couldn't believe we were actually going there. Yellowstone is this huge park full of forests, mountains, rivers, and incredible animals like bison and bears. It even has real hot springs and geysers that shoot boiling water way up into the air!The drive to Yellowstone from our house took forever. Tommy and I kept asking "Are we there yet?" until Mom and Dad got really annoyed. When we finally arrived, I pressed my face against the car window, trying to see everything at once. The park was just as amazing as I had imagined! We stayed in a cute little cabin near the visitor center. On our first morning, a huge bison was standing right outside, munching on the grass. Dad said we had to stay back because bison are dangerous if you get too close. I was disappointed we couldn't pet it, but Mom reminded me that wild animals need to stay wild. That day, we went on a long hike to see the Grand Prismatic Hot Spring. The hot spring looks like a massive rainbow pool because of all the different colored bacteria growing in it. Steam was rising off the surface and it smelled a little bit like rotteneggs from the sulfur. Our guide told us the water is so hot, it could literally boil you alive! I decided to admire the hot spring from a safe distance. The next few days were packed with more hikes and wildlife watching. We spotted elk with giant antlers, a grizzly bear digging for roots, and thousands of tiny squirmy pikas scurrying among the rocks. My little brother Tommy loved the pikas and kept trying to catch them, but they were too fast!My absolute favorite day was when we visited Old Faithful, the most famous geyser in the park. Old Faithful erupts every 90 minutes or so, shooting a huge tower of steaming hot water up to 180 feet in the air! We got there ultra early to get a good viewing spot in the amphitheater surrounding the geyser. As we waited for Old Faithful to erupt, I could see steam slowly starting to escape from the hole in the ground. I fidgeted with anticipation, not wanting to miss a single second. Suddenly, with an enormous gasping roar, the geyser violently exploded, blasting a tremendous column of scalding water straight up into the sky! I watched in total awe as the water arched high overhead before crashing back down in a misty rain around the geyser's mouth. It was the most jaw-droppingly cool thing I had ever witnessed! After Old Faithful's incredible performance, we went on a trail ride on horseback. I loved feeling the rhythmic sway of the horse beneath me as we ambled through meadows filled with wildflowers. At one point, we had to halt and let a massive herd of bison cross right in front of us. They are the true rulers of Yellowstone! On our very last day, we took a scenic drive to admire the vibrant colored篇6My Holiday AdventureLast summer, I had the best holiday ever! My family and I went on a big trip to Australia. We saw so many awesome things and had the craziest adventures. Let me tell you all about it!We started our trip by flying on a huge airplane from China to Sydney. It took forever - like 10 hours! I watched lots of movies and played games on the little TV on the back of the seat in front of me. When we finally landed, I was so excited to be in a new country.Sydney was amazing! We visited the famous Sydney Opera House and climbed up on the roof for a tour. From up there, youcan see the entire harbor and city. It was a little scary being so high up, but the view was incredible. We also went to Taronga Zoo and saw tons of cool animals like kangaroos, koalas, and even a giant saltwater crocodile! After a few days in Sydney, we rented a camper van and started driving up the east coast. Our first stop was the Gold Coast where we went to super fun theme parks like Dreamworld and Sea World. I loved all the crazy roller coasters and getting splashed by the dolphins and whales! As we kept driving north, we stopped at lots of beautiful beaches. We went snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef and saw so many colorful fish and coral. I even spotted a tiny reef shark! Another day, we took a boat out to watch some huge humpback whales migrate. Seeing those massive whales breach and splash back into the water was just mind-blowing.The best part though was when we went on a rainforest adventure walk. We had to cross scary rope bridges hanging over rivers and ravines. Our guide taught us about all the exotic plants and animals in the dense jungle. We even got to spot some wild kangaroos hopping around! At night, we camped out in the middle of the rainforest and roasted marshmallows over acampfire. The stars looked amazing without any city lights around. After two awesome weeks of exploring, it was sadly time to head back home. I had such an unforgettable adventure Down Under. Australia is one of the coolest places I've ever been! I made so many incredible memories that I'll never forget. I'm already bugging my parents to take me back there again soon. Maybe next time we can see the Outback deserts!。
The Power of Perseverance in OvercomingChallengesIn the journey of life, we are constantly faced with various challenges that test our resolve and perseverance. The English proficiency test, such as the CET-4, is one such challenge that requires hard work, dedication, and perseverance to overcome. The theme of the CET-4 composition in September 2020, "The Power of Perseverance," perfectly captures the essence of what it takes to succeed in such endeavors.Perseverance is the driving force that propels us forward when faced with difficulties and setbacks. It is the perseverance that allows us to keep going when others may have given up. It is the perseverance that turns our dreams into reality. The story of Thomas Edison, who invented the light bulb after failing hundreds of times, is a testament to the power of perseverance. He did not give up despite the repeated failures, and his persistence ultimately led to his success.Similarly, in the context of the CET-4 exam, perseverance is the key to achieving a good score. The examtests not only our knowledge of English but also ourability to stay focused and determined under pressure. The only way to improve our chances of success is through consistent practice and revision, which requires a great deal of perseverance. However, perseverance does not mean stubbornly sticking to one's original plan without considering changes. Instead, it involves a balance between persistence and adaptability. We need to persevere in our efforts to learn and improve, but we also need to be flexible enough to adjust our strategies and approaches when necessary. For example, ifwe find that a particular learning method is not workingfor us, we should be willing to try something new. Moreover, perseverance is not just about working hard;it is also about working smart. Effective time management, strategic planning, and regular breaks are essential for maintaining our motivation and energy levels. You should write at least 120 words, and base your composition on the outline given below in Chinese:1. A Job-searching ExperienceLast Friday my English teacher told me that one of her friends was looking for an English governess. I asked for her friend’s name and phone number. I determined to seize the chance and have my first job.I was a little nervous when I went to the woman’s house. I was told that the talk between us that day would decide whether I could take the job. However, when the woman, Lucy as she was called, welcomed me into her house, I felt much relaxed. I thought as long as I was sincere and friendly I would perform well. The conversation went on smoothly. She seemed much more interested in my habits and hobbies than how good I was at English. It happened that we have the same hobby: playing tennis.I told her about my family and school life. Obviously I succeeded and from then on I went to teach her English every weekend.Lucy told me later that it was my sincerity that made her willingly accept me. It is true that we can play some tricks while seeking for a job, but remember to be sincere. It’s the secret of my success.【篇二】2020年12月大学英语四级作文范文Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a composition entitled My Opinion on Campus Love. You should write at least 150 words following the outline given below in Chinese:1. My Opinion on Campus LoveOn campus, lovers can be found here and there. Some people think too much intimacy has a bad influence. It takes lovers too much time and energy. Furthermore, their intimacy can distract their own as well as other students’ attention from study. Campus should be a place for study and should maintain an atmosphere of learning. On the other hand, other people believe it is OK. Pursuing love is all right to students on campus and intimacy is a natural expression of love. Some scholars of law hold that friendship and appropriate intimacy are an important part of student development. In my opinion, what all people should do is just leave it as it is. University students are adults, and they can handle their own affairs well enough. However, they have to admit that school is a place where people receive an education and their main task is to study. Therefore, students are expected to behave themselves in proper ways.【篇三】2020年12月大学英语四级作文范文Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a short essay on the topic Do We Need “Never give up”? Youshould write at least 150 words following the outline given below in Chinese:1. “永不言弃”一直被认为是一种积极的生活态度,是个人成功的关键因素2. 但是,也有人认为适当的放弃才是明智的选择3. 你对此的看法及理由【范文】Do We Need “Never give up”?It is widely accepted that “Never give up”, a strong and positive life attitude, is the key for individual success on the grounds that permanent persistence may boost our confidence, strengthen our will, and provide us a second chance for success when we are in hardship. However, others argue that sensible abandonment is more precious than blind persistence because the wise one should choose the most suitable area for himself/herself.In my opinion, we need to learn to give up timely. The most immediate reason is that we should adjust our aim carefully in order to go ahead continuously. Sometimes, to give up those unrealistic targets is essential for success. Besides, the attitude “Never give up” exhausts us both mentally and physically. Only through learning to give up can we lead a pleasant and relaxing life. Finally, the temporary comprise means a new start, a beginning bringing new hopes, expectations and opportunities for us.Passive as giving up sounds alike, it represents a more mature and realistic mentality. If those opposing this attitude can take into consideration of its benefits, then this may seem acceptable in our lives.。

1China has often been criticized for the rampant practice of software piracy. T ake a look around. We operate on pirated Windows systems, defend PC security with pirated Kaspersky anti-virus programmes, process files with pirated Microsoft Office, draft 3D designs with pirated AutoCAD, refine pictures with pirated Adobe Photoshop, and study English with pirated Kingsofts electronic dictionaries and translators. Its no exaggeration that pirated software is everywhere. The logic behind the phenomenon is simple and clear: if a pirated copy is available for just a tiny fraction of the normal price, not to speak of many of the free downloads online, who would pay for an authentic copy? Cheaper prices aside, easy access is another important factor. With such a large gathering of pirated upgrades around, who would bother to spend time and money searching the stores for an authorized yet outdated version?Despite these apparent benefits, the practice of software piracy should be banned, because it represents unfair competition and by nature its a no-win situation. But how? Two approaches are to be taken at the same time: T echnically, software developers should enhance their antipiracy engineering, so that cracking the software should be virtually impossible. And legally, the government should also tighten its antipiracy laws and toughen up the penalties, so that violations should be costly.12月大学英语四级考试作文篇2Honesty is a cherished Chinese traditional virtue. But nowadays there are many dishonest cases in society. Some businessmen cheat their bosses for higher positions. Some employees cheat their friends for more sympathy.Even some government officials cheat their people for more interests. These phenomena anger every person of integrity. Then ,why do they come into being?Maybe these people believe that nobody will find out their dishonesty. However, eventually their customers will come to purchase their products no more;their bosses will dismiss them;their friends no longer come to their rescue in case of crisis;their people will remove them from office. They pay the price for their own dishonest behavior. Therefore, everyone should be honest, which benefits not only himself but also others. 3As can be seen from the graph, there have been sharp changes in the age distribution of drug addicts. To be concrete, the teenage addicts only made up 10 percent of all the drugsters in 19xx while the ratio rose up to xx in 20xx.The causes for them are not hard to find. First , teenagers’ fearless curiosity about everything new has led some of them into this marsh. Second, many of the young addicts turned for the first time to drugs for escape either from their failure in the national entrance exams or from their parents’ breakup. And above all, our education in the harmfulness of drugs has been far f rom adequate to build teenagers’ sound resistance to drugs. To sum up, the causes mentioned above must call for more of our concern, and effective measures should be taken to check the trend.Obviously the drastic change will exert great impact on individuals and the whole society. For one thing, drug-taking does great damage to the health of drug users.. For another, some drug users commit robbery or even murder their parents and relatives to get money to buy drugs, which poses a great threat to the social security and the social stability. Therefore, it is high time we did something to put an end to this trend.12月大学英语四级考试作文篇4Nowadays, TV PK Shows (or we can call it Talent Shows) are great hit in China and have attracted many young people. As for me, TV PK Shows, as all other things, have both positive and negative effects. Therefore, the most crucial thing is how we see them. Some people think Talent Shows provide grass-root people with a stage to display their talents, so they should seize every opportunity to show off their talents. Some College students even give up their studies to attend these TV PK Shows in the hope of becoming famous overnight. They even regard TV PK shows as a shortcut to the success. While other people reckon that TV PK Shows wil l develop the undergraduates’ attitude of anxious of achieving quick success. And once they were failed in these shows, they would suffer a great psychological unbalance. This is really bad to their physical and psychological health. To sum up, everything has its limit. As long as the right attitude is employed, then it is OK.12月大学英语四级考试作文篇5Today the campus should no longer be an “Ivory T ower”. College students must go outside to get to know the world. They should acquire knowledge not only from books but also from the society. Thus they can adapt to society more quickly after theygraduate from school.Science and technology are developing rapidly with each passing day. Most students can keep themselves informed by watching TV, listening to the radio, reading newspaper and using computers. It’s also good to take a part-time job. Any of these methods will enable students to get in touch with society.Summer vacation is round the corner. I’ve already enrolled to be a volunteer to help others. I think I can do well. Although I won’t be paid, the most important thing is that I can learn a lot about society.12月大学英语四级考试作文篇6Some people enjoy living together with their parents after they have grown up. They hold the opinion because, living with parents, they can take better care of their parents and vice versa. Meanwhile, they can turn to their parents for help if they get into trouble or have some difficulties. To them, life in a big family seems to be more enjoyable than that in a small family.Others, however, prefer to live separately. They cherish the idea to be independent of their parents, seek more freedom and wish to have a place of their own, in which they can do what they like. Bedsides, they dont want to be overprotected by their parents but long for chance to face the society by themselves. As to me, I like an independent life style in spite of the fact I love my parents. Different generations have different life styles and values. What one generations likes may not be another generations fondness. Living separately, each generation can enjoy different value. In addition, by leading an independent life, I can train my character and develop my own ability to deal with things encountered in my life.12月大学英语四级考试作文篇7Internet and PiracyInternet has penetrated into all the aspects of our life and work. We can study and work by it; we can find a job by it; we can communicate by it; we can entertain by it; we can buy and sell by it. We can do almost everything on the Internet, and almost anywhere anytime. However, at the same time Internet provides services for us, it is inevitably invading our privacy to some degree. The services on most websites require our registering. If we want to enjoy these services, we have to provide much private information, including our names, gender, address, telephone number and sometimes bank account. Due to the poor Internet administration and weak network security, our information might be open, stolen or sold. Even sometimes the information will be misused by the criminals.Considering the above-mentioned, we must enhance the alertness when using the Internet. First, when we need Internet service, we should always log on those big legal websites. Second, if the service requires important private information, you should think twice before you type in it.12月大学英语四级考试作文篇8Fire Prevention on CampusPeople are alarmed by the succession of campus fires in recent years. In each of these accidents, heavy casualties were reported - houses were burned down, students lost their lives, and properties were damaged. Faced with such a chilling fact, people keep asking, What on earth results in these repeated tragedies?A brief survey of them reveals that human factors still prove to be the leading causes. For example, three of these fires werecaused by the students use of electric water-heaters. As students often leave the heaters unattended, the risks are rather high should the water in the bottle boil dry while no one is around to turn off the power. In other cases, fires were also caused by stoves, candles, cigarette butts, etc.Since most of these disasters could have been prevented if proper precautions had been taken, students should be better educated on the importance and measures of fire control. The following three reminders are of particular importance for us students: First, learn how to use a fire extinguisher. Second, double-check candles, heaters, stoves and other electric appliances, and make sure there are no open flames before leaving rooms. Lastly, do not smoke in the dorm.12月大学英语四级考试作文篇9Personal credit cards are becoming more common in China. Banks and other financial institutions are encouraging their customers to change the way they buy things. Credit cards, otherwise known as “plastic money”, are being offered on very good terms to encourage the change. Consumers will be able to “buy now, pay later”, and many see this as an advantage. But people need to be careful. There are dangers associated with credit cards. Some people find it very easy to exceed their budget. They are tempted to purchase goods that they do not really need, and can become quickly overburdened by debt. The credit cards often charge a high rate of interest, which exacerbates the problems for these people. However, used wisely credit cards can improve the quality of people’s lives. They can give people access to money to meet sudden unplanned expenses. Properly handled, they can let people control their expenditure and the monthly statementsprovide a record of where their money has gone.12月大学英语四级考试作文篇10This cartoon is silly, and yet compelling: a large customer holds a hopelessly small piece of cloth as the tailor carefully measures. Such an image suggests that one needs to consider practical reality in the pursuance of goals. Merely acting on ones desires, while ignoring the facts at hand, cannot lead to success. The fact that currently there are more graduates than jobs reminds us of the importance of rational thinking. Every year approximately 3 million students graduate from universities and begin looking for work. Many of them fail to find suitable employment because there are simply not enough opportunities to accommodate such great numbers of graduates. In addition, however, one might also cite flawed individual assessment as a reason. In order to create a realistic target for ones future, one must make rational decisions and prepare accordingly. A student who aims to be a surgeon, for example, must take care to acquire opportunities to do clinical practice and gain sufficient knowledge. In other words, customers would do well to take accurate measurements before purchasing their fabric. A small piece of cloth cannot adequately clothe a large person.。
2020年12月大学英语四级作文范文(卷一)2020年12月大学英语四级作文范文(卷一)The Importance of Being Participants in LifeNowadays it is common to encounter a scene when people want to see things happen but can't make things happen for various kinds of reasons. Sometimes, they just refuse to bethe change in the world. As far as I am concerned, we should all have the notionof being the participant in our life. For instance, one can't have a healthy body by merely watching others take regular exercises. He must strengthen his body through his ownefforts. Another case is that when people intend to acquire new skills, such as public speaking skill, they need to catch every opportunity to speak in the public so that they can achieve success. Furthermore, there are changes we want tosee in the world, like protecting the environment effectively, and the only way to make a difference is that each of us should be a contributing participant. In conclusion, let's go out there to make things happen, just as the saying goes: "Be the change you want to see inthe world."
Perseverance is the invisible force that propels us forward in the face of adversity. It is the driving force that turns dreams into reality and challenges into opportunities. In the context of English learning, perseverance plays a pivotal role in overcoming the language barrier and achieving proficiency. The journey of English learning is often fraught with difficulties and setbacks. From the initial struggle with grammar rules and vocabulary to the constant challenges posed by listening comprehension and speaking skills, the path can be arduous. However, it is perseverance that helps us navigate through these challenges and emerge stronger. One of the key aspects of perseverance is consistency. Regular practice is essential for mastering any skill, and English learning is no exception. By setting aside a fixed time each day for studying, one can gradually build a solid foundation of language skills. Consistency also ensuresthat the learner does not get overwhelmed by the vastness of the task and instead approaches it with a steady and determined stride.Another crucial aspect of perseverance is the abilityto adapt and overcome obstacles. When faced with a challenging aspect of English, such as a complex grammarrule or an unfamiliar idiom, the persevering learner does not give up. Instead, they embrace the challenge, seek help, and practice until mastery is achieved. This adaptabilityis what sets apart successful language learners from those who struggle. Moreover, perseverance fosters a positive mindset thatis crucial for language learning. When faced with setbacks, the persevering learner remains optimistic and views themas temporary obstacles rather than permanent failures. This positive mindset keeps them motivated and encourages themto keep going even when the going gets tough. In conclusion, perseverance is the key to overcomingthe challenges in English learning. It is the invisibleforce that turns struggle into strength and difficulty into achievement. By cultivating perseverance, learners can navigate through the challenges of language learning, build a solid foundation of skills, and achieve proficiency in English.**坚持不懈的力量:克服英语学习中的挑战**坚持不懈是推动我们面对逆境向前的无形力量。

With the deepening of reform and opening-up of our country, many people dream of going abroad for further study. They insist that there are more modern research facilities, world famous professors and excellent environment in some foreign colleges and universities, which lay a perfect foundation for their future development. However, there are
still many people who favor studying at home. They argue that, for one thing, studying abroad is too expensive and therefore doesn't pay off. For another, there are no language and
cultural barriers if they study in our country. Just as the
old saying goes, "Every advantage has its disadvantage," so I believe both opinions are acceptable in some sense. If
students have the chances and financial resources, they
should seize the opportunity to go abroad and broaden their eyes. On the other hand, if conditions don't permit, they can pursue their studies at top universities in our country. What counts is not the place where they study, but what they can learn.。
