Unit 2 Numbers Reading教学设计一、本单元教材分析本单元围绕着“数字”为话题来展开听、说、读、写的训练。
通过一个有关国王与大米的故事,介绍了故事发展的要素,指导学生阅读记叙文,激发他们的阅读兴趣以及科学探索精神,同时在听说读写中引导学生掌握有关数字的相关用法。
二、教学对象分析1.学生对于“故事”比较熟悉之后,有利于开展本单元的各项听说读写任务。
2.学生对于数词的用法,在小学已经接触过,只是没有进行专项的归纳。
在本单元,教师可以系统地帮助学生温故而知新,引导学生在一定的语境中熟练运用数词。
三、能力发展目标:1)能够在听、说、读、写等语言综合实践活动中运用本单元的重点词汇、句型与语法。
2)在学习中提高交流和传递信息的能力,在写作中句型使文章更连贯和流畅。
3)通过指导学生在模拟交际中运用所学知识,培养学生探究、合作、自主学习的能力。
四、单元教学重点1.学生熟练掌握重点词汇23个,短语4个2.指导学生利用所学句型正确表达思想、进行交际活动。
3.指导学生通过总结规则来学习数字的构成及表达五、单元教学重点1. 通过形式多样的课堂活动与任务,帮助学生完成阅读理解、听力理解等学习任务。
2. 引导学生积极主动地探究学习,并且与同学进行相互交流,顺利开展包括口头汇报、写作展示等拓展活动,培养学生探究学习、自主学习、合作学习的能力。
六、教学策略1.在教学中,教师应积极设情景引入,配合媒体、表情、动作、进行视听说演示,激发学生兴趣。
2.教师应采用有利于学生学习的教学方法,善于引用学生通过阅读或观察、比较对比知识进行归纳总结。
增加学习内容的复现和巩固练习、及时反馈学习情况。
3.教师应该根据自己学生的具体情况对教材进行整合,精讲精练,调动学生的学习兴趣。
在阅读的过程中,教师指导学生培养阅读策略与技能及写作过程中的写作技巧训练。

However, they could only count small numbers in this way. After that, they began to make small marks on sticks and bones. This helped them count bigger numbers. They used them to count the days of the month, the amount of food and the number of animals they have.Then people began to use tokens made from clay or small stones. This helped them count even bigger numbers. They often put the tokens on pieces of string so that they could carry them around easily. This developed into tools like the abacus.Finally, people began to develop systems of written marks to show different numbers, and this led to the Hindu---Arabic system(0-9). 9.21汇报课收获与反思:从这次汇报课中,我发现了自己的教学方面存在很多的问题和不足,在教学设计和课堂当中都存在着一些问题需要解决。
在教学设计方面,1)阅读的形式:播放录音没办法让学生理解文章内容,要给足够的时间给学生来阅读课文;要给足够的时间给学生来理解问题。
2)阅读的问题:问题设置没有难度的递进(T/F, answer questions, fill in the blanks)3)没有把问题制成学案,学生不知道问题在哪,无法更有效地理解问题。
4)PPT上没有中文指令,指令不清,学生没办法很快地反应;5)课本剧的难度较高,学生的参与度不高。
6)听力部分数字太多,对一些学生难度有点高。
在课堂实际教学当中,1)教师控场:没人回答问题时没有采取别的方式来鼓励学生回答问题,随机应变,要多给学生例子来模仿;2)没有采用小组活动的方式,学生没有回答问题和参与课堂的积极性,学生的课堂参与度很低。
3)教姿教态:语音语调不都有激情,没有用上肢体语言,无法带动学生;4)对课文的解释不够清楚。
另外,这次汇报课选在下午第一节课,自己和学生的精神状态都不是最好,课堂气氛因此更加沉闷。
从这次汇报课中,我收获良多。
在教学设计方面,一方面,针对阅读课课型要给学生足够的时间去阅读文章和问题,问题的难度要层层递进,对帮助理解课文的重点词汇要多加解释;另一方面,针对学生的实际学习水平和学习情况,要设计适合学生的课堂活动,并且要在PPT和学案上给清晰的指令,多用小组合作等形式来开展课堂活动,调动学生的积极性。
在实际教学中,要时刻注意自己的教姿教态,用合适的语气语调和肢体语言来带动课堂气氛;在课堂中还要能随机应变,当学生的反应与预想的不同时,要采取多种方式来引领学生参与到课堂活动中。

一、学生分析
该班(八年10班)来自普通面上学校,由21名女生和18名男生组成。
这个阶段的学生有一定的英语基础,对英语学习兴趣浓厚并且充满热情活力。
由于是面上学校学生,英
语听说读写能力有限,需要用简洁生动的教学形式和方法如图片、流程图来进行本课教学。
二、教材分析
这篇课文为一篇叙述性故事。
文章共有5个生词,1个长句,以及部分与数学相关的
知识。
总体来讲,文章难度不高并且学生乐于阅读。
此外,该课程是一节阅读课。
三、教学目标
学完该课程后,学生将达成以下目标:
(一)语言知识:
1.能理解并正确使用以下单词: promise, prize, double, realize, wise;
2.能分辨运用基数词和序数词: one, two, three, first, second, third…;
3.能读懂有关英文数字的文章。
(二)语言技能:
1.能根据上下文来猜测生词的含义;
2.能通过阅读一篇文章来获取不同层次的信息。
(三)情感态度:
1.培养学生形成“积跬步致千里”的学习意识。
(四)文化意识:
1.能理解英语中存在基数词与序数词的使用,同汉语有相同之处。

Pre-reading(5min)
1.Show some pictures to introduce how ancient people record numbers.

2.Ask the Ss to fill the correct number according to the pictures.

1.First reading: Ask Ss to look at the pictures, the title of the story and
read the first sentences of Para.1 and 2 on page 19. Then circle the correct
answers.

后圈出正确的答案。
2.Matching Game. T shows the two halves of the sentences and asks the Ss to
think about the correct matching. Then T shows them the correct answers. Ask
the Ss to guess the Chinese meaning of the new words in the sentences.
