如：

用于首次出现，一方不知道的人或物的名词前。 如：

The president gave a talk on TV.总统在电视里做了一 次演讲。
（5）不是特指的物质名词或抽象名词前不用冠词。如：
Money is not everything.金钱不是万能的。
Music can bring pleasure to people.音乐能给人带来 欢乐。
（6）名词前已有指示代词this，that，these，those和 物主代词my，your，his，her，our，their，its或不定 代词some，any，no，each，every等作定语时不用任 何冠词。如：
an ugly woman 一个相貌丑陋的女人。
特别注意：
①这里的元音和辅音指的是音素，不是指字母。 如：a university 一所大学；an honest man 一 个诚实的人。
