美国奥巴马的英语演讲稿Ladies and gentlemen,。
It is a great honor for me to stand before you today and address the people of the United States and the world. As the President of the United States, I have the privilege and responsibility to lead this great nation, and to represent our values and ideals on the global stage.I believe in the power of words to inspire, to unite, and to bring about positive change. Throughout history, great leaders have used their words to shape the course of events, to rally people to a cause, and to create a vision for a better future. Today, I stand before you to share my vision for America and the world, and to call on all of us to work together to make that vision a reality. In my time as President, I have witnessed the resilience and strength of the American people. I have seen communities come together in the face of adversity, and I have seen individuals rise above their circumstances to achieve greatness. This is the spirit of America – the belief that anything is possible, and that we all have a part to play in shaping our destiny. As we look to the future, we must confront the challenges that lie ahead. We face the threat of climate change, the spread of terrorism, and the persistence of inequality and injustice. These are not easy problems to solve, but I believe that if we work together, we can overcome them.We must also remember the values that have always defined us as a nation. The belief in freedom, equality, and opportunity for all. The understanding that our diversity is our strength, and that we must strive to create a society where everyone has the chance to succeed. In my time as President, I have had the opportunity to travel the world and meet with leaders and citizens from every corner of the globe. I have seen the power of diplomacyand dialogue to bring about change, and I have seen the importance of standing up for our values, even in the face of opposition.I believe that America has a unique role to play in the world – a role of leadership, of partnership, and of service. We must work with other nations to address the challenges that affect us all, and we must lead by example in upholding the principles that we hold dear.I am confident that if we stay true to our values, if we work together with purpose and determination, and if we never lose sight of the potential for progress and change, we can build a better future for our children and grandchildren, and for generations to come.Thank you, and may God bless America.。

Words at War Speech by Sir Winston Churchill I spoke the other day of the colossal military disaster which occurred when the French High Command failed to withdraw the northern Armies from Belgium at the moment when they knew that the French front was decisively broken at Sedan and on the Meuse. This delay entailed the loss of fifteen or sixteen French divisions and threw out of action for the critical period the whole of the British Expeditionary Force. Our Army and 120,000 French troops were indeed rescued by the British Navy from Dunkirk but only with the loss of their cannon, vehicles and modern equipment. This loss inevitably took some weeks to repair, and in the first two of those weeks the battle in France has been lost. When we consider the heroic resistance made by the French Army against heavy odds in this battle, the enormous losses inflicted upon the enemy and the evident exhaustion of the enemy, it may well be the thought that these 25 divisions of the best-trained and best-equipped troops might have turned the scale. However, General Weygand had to fight without them. Only three British divisions or their equivalent were able to stand in the line with their French comrades. They have suffered severely, but they have fought well. We sent every man we could to France as fast as we could re-equip and transport their formations.I am not reciting these facts for the purpose of recrimination. That I judge to be utterly futile and even harmful. We cannot afford it. I recite them in order to explain why it was we did not have, as we could have had, between twelve and fourteen British divisions fighting in the line in this great battle instead of only three. Now I put all this aside. I put it on the shelf, from which the historians, when they have time, will select their documents to tell their stories. We have to think of the future and not of the past. This also applies in a small way to our own affairs at home. There are many who would hold an inquest in the House of Commons on the conduct of the Governments--and of Parliaments, for they are in it, too--during the years which led up to this catastrophe. They seek to indict those who were responsible for the guidance of our affairs. This also would be a foolish and pernicious process. There are too many in it. Let each man search his conscience and search his speeches. I frequently search mine.Of this I am quite sure, that if we open a quarrel between the past and the present, we shall find that we have lost the future. Therefore, I cannot accept the drawing of any distinctions between members of the present Government. It was formed at a moment of crisis in order to unite all the Parties and all sections of opinion. It has received the almost unanimous support of both Houses of Parliament. Its members are going to stand together, and, subject to the authority of the House of Commons, we are going to govern the country and fight the war. It is absolutely necessary at a time like this that every Minister who tries each day to do his duty shall be respected; and their subordinates must know that their chiefs are not threatened men, men who are here today and gone tomorrow, but that their directions must be punctually and faithfully obeyed. Without this concentrated power we cannot face what lies before us. I should not think it would be very advantageous for the House to prolong this debate this afternoon under conditions of public stress. Many factsare not clear that will be clear in a short time. We are to have a secret session on Thursday, and I should think that would be a better opportunity for the many earnest expressions of opinion which members will desire to make and for the House to discuss vital matters without having everything read the next morning by our dangerous foes. The disastrous military events which have happened during the past fortnight have not come to me with any sense of surprise. Indeed, I indicated a fortnight ago as clearly as I could to the House that the worst possibilities were open; and I made it perfectly clear then that whatever happened in France would make no difference to the resolve of Britain and the British Empire to fight on, if necessary for years, if necessary alone. What General Weygand called the Battle of France is over. I expect that the Battle of Britain is about to begin. Upon this battle depends the survival of Christian civilization. Upon it depends our own British life, and the long continuity of our institutions and our Empire. The whole fury and might of the enemy must very soon be turned on us.Hitler knows that he will have to break us in this Island or lose the war. If we can stand up to him, all Europe may be free and the life of the world may move forward into broad, sunlit uplands. But if we fail, then the whole world, including the United States, including all that we have known and cared for, will sink into the abyss of a new Dark Age made more sinister, and perhaps more protracted, by the lights of perverted science.Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duties, and so bear ourselves that if the British Empire and its Commonwealth last for a thousand years, men will still say, 'This was their finest hour.'。
"Men, this stuff that some sources sling around about America wanting out of this war, not wanting to fight, is a crock of bullshit. Americans love to fight, traditionally. All real Americans love the sting and clash of battle. You are here today for three reasons. First, because you are here to defend your homes and your loved ones. Second, you are here for your own self respect, because you would not want to be anywhere else. Third, you are here because you are real men and all real men like to fight. When you, here, everyone of you, were kids, you all admired the champion marble player, the fastest runner, the toughest boxer, the big league ball players, and the All-American football players. Americans love a winner. Americans will not tolerate a loser. Americans despise cowards. Americans play to win all of the time. I wouldn't give a hoot in hell for a man who lost and laughed. That's why Americans have never lost nor will ever lose a war; for the very idea of losing is hateful to an American."The General paused and looked over the crowd. "You are not all going to die," he said slowly. "Only two percent of you right here today would die in a major battle. Death must not be feared. Death, in time, comes to all men. Yes, every man is scared in his first battle. If he says he's not, he's a liar. Some men are cowards but they fight the same as the brave men or they get the hell slammed out of them watching men fight who are just as scared as they are. The real hero is the man who fights even though he is scared. Some men get over their fright in a minute under fire. For some, it takes an hour. For some, it takes days. But a real man will never let his fear of death overpower his honor, his sense of duty to his country, and his innate manhood. Battle is the most magnificent competition in which a human being can indulge. It brings out all that is best and it removes all that is base. Americans pride themselves on being He Men and they ARE He Men. Remember that the enemy is just as frightened as you are, and probably more so. They are not supermen.""All through your Army careers, you men have bitched about what you call "chicken shit drilling". That, like everything else in this Army, has a definite purpose. That purpose is alertness. Alertness must be bred into every soldier. I don't give a fuck for a man who's not always on his toes. You men are veterans or you wouldn't be here. You are ready for what's to come. A man must be alert at all times if he expects to stay alive. If you're not alert, sometime, a German son-of-an-asshole-bitch is going to sneak up behind you and beat you to death with a sockful of shit!" The men roared in agreement.Patton's grim expression did not change. "There are four hundred neatly marked graves somewhere in Sicily", he roared into the microphone, "All because one man went to sleep on the job". He paused and the men grew silent. "But they are German graves, because we caught the bastard asleep before they did". The General clutched the microphone tightly, his jaw out-thrust, and he continued, "An Army is a team. It lives, sleeps, eats, and fights as a team. This individual heroic stuff is pure horse shit. The bilious bastards who write that kind of stuff for the Saturday Evening Post don't know any more about real fighting under fire than they know about fucking!"The men slapped their legs and rolled in glee. This was Patton as the men had imagined him to be, and in rare form, too. He hadn't let them down. He was all that he was cracked up to be, and more. He had IT!"We have the finest food, the finest equipment, the best spirit, and the best men in the world", Patton bellowed. He lowered his head and shook it pensively. Suddenly he snapped erect, faced the men belligerently and thundered, "Why, by God, I actually pity those poor sons-of-bitches we're going up against. By God, I do". The men clapped and howled delightedly. There would be many a barracks tale about the "Old Man's" choice phrases. They would become part and parcel of Third Army's history and they would become the bible of their slang."My men don't surrender", Patton continued, "I don't want to hear of any soldier under my command being captured unless he has been hit. Even if you are hit, you can still fight back. That's not just bull shit either. The kind of man that I want in my command is just like the lieutenant in Libya, who, with a Luger against his chest, jerked off his helmet, swept the gun aside with one hand, and busted the hell out of the Kraut with his helmet. Then he jumped on the gun and went out and killed another German before they knew what the hell was coming off. And, all of that time, this man had a bullet through a lung. There was a real man!"Patton stopped and the crowd waited. He continued more quietly, "All of the real heroes are not storybook combat fighters, either. Every single man in this Army plays a vital role. Don't ever let up. Don't ever think that your job is unimportant. Every man has a job to do and he must do it. Every man is a vital link in the great chain. What if every truck driver suddenly decided that he didn't like the whine of those shells overhead, turned yellow, and jumped headlong into a ditch? The cowardly bastard could say, "Hell, they won't miss me, just one man in thousands". But, what if every man thought that way? Where in the hell would we be now? What would our country, our loved ones, our homes, even the world, be like? No, Goddamnit, Americans don't think like that. Every man does his job. Every man serves the whole. Every department, every unit, is important in the vast scheme of this war. The ordnance men are needed to supply the guns and machinery of war to keep us rolling. The Quartermaster is needed to bring up food and clothes because where we are going there isn't a hell of a lot to steal. Every last man on K.P. has a job to do, even the one who heats our water to keep us from getting the 'G.I. Shits'."Patton paused, took a deep breath, and continued, "Each man must not think only of himself, but also of his buddy fighting beside him. We don't want yellow cowards in this Army. They should be killed off like rats. If not, they will go home after this war and breed more cowards. The brave men will breed more brave men. Kill off the Goddamned cowards and we will have a nation of brave men. One of the bravest men that I ever saw was a fellow on top of a telegraph pole in the midst of a furious fire fight in Tunisia. I stopped and asked what the hell he was doing up there at a time like that. He answered, "Fixing the wire, Sir". I asked, "Isn't that a little unhealthy right about now?" He answered, "Yes Sir, but the Goddamned wire has to be fixed". I asked, "Don't those planes strafing the road bother you?" And he answered, "No, Sir, but you sure as hell do!" Now, there was a real man. A real soldier. There was a man who devoted all he had to his duty, no matter how seemingly insignificant his duty might appear at the time, no matter how great the odds. And you should have seen those trucks on the rode to Tunisia. Those drivers were magnificent. All day and all night they rolled over those son-of-a-bitching roads, never stopping, never faltering from their course, with shells bursting all around them all of the time. We gotthrough on good old American guts. Many of those men drove for over forty consecutive hours. These men weren't combat men, but they were soldiers with a job to do. They did it, and in one hell of a way they did it. They were part of a team. Without team effort, without them, the fight would have been lost. All of the links in the chain pulled together and the chain became unbreakable."The General paused and stared challengingly over the silent ocean of men. One could have heard a pin drop anywhere on that vast hillside. The only sound was the stirring of the breeze in the leaves of the bordering trees and the busy chirping of the birds in the branches of the trees at the General's left."Don't forget," Patton barked, "you men don't know that I'm here. No mention of that fact is to be made in any letters. The world is not supposed to know what the hell happened to me. I'm not supposed to be commanding this Army. I'm not even supposed to be here in England. Let the first bastards to find out be the Goddamned Germans. Some day I want to see them raise up on their piss-soaked hind legs and howl, 'Jesus Christ, it's the Goddamned Third Army again and that son-of-a-fucking-bitch Patton'.""We want to get the hell over there", Patton continued, "The quicker we clean up this Goddamned mess, the quicker we can take a little jaunt against the purple pissing Japs and clean out their nest, too. Before the Goddamned Marines get all of the credit."The men roared approval and cheered delightedly. This statement had real significance behind it. Much more than met the eye and the men instinctively sensed the fact. They knew that they themselves were going to play a very great part in the making of world history. They were being told as much right now. Deep sincerity and seriousness lay behind the General's colorful words. The men knew and understood it. They loved the way he put it, too, as only he could.Patton continued quietly, "Sure, we want to go home. We want this war over with. The quickest way to get it over with is to go get the bastards who started it. The quicker they are whipped, the quicker we can go home. The shortest way home is through Berlin and Tokyo. And when we get to Berlin", he yelled, "I am personally going to shoot that paper hanging son-of-a-bitch Hitler. Just like I'd shoot a snake!""When a man is lying in a shell hole, if he just stays there all day, a German will get to him eventually. The hell with that idea. The hell with taking it. My men don't dig foxholes. I don't want them to. Foxholes only slow up an offensive. Keep moving. And don't give the enemy time to dig one either. We'll win this war, but we'll win it only by fighting and by showing the Germans that we've got more guts than they have; or ever will have. We're not going to just shoot the sons-of-bitches, we're going to rip out their living Goddamned guts and use them to grease the treads of our tanks. We're going to murder those lousy Hun cocksuckers by the bushel-fucking-basket. War is a bloody, killing business. You've got to spill their blood, or they will spill yours. Rip them up the belly. Shoot them in the guts. When shells are hitting all around youand you wipe the dirt off your face and realize that instead of dirt it's the blood and guts of what once was your best friend beside you, you'll know what to do!""I don't want to get any messages saying, "I am holding my position." We are not holding a Goddamned thing. Let the Germans do that. We are advancing constantly and we are not interested in holding onto anything, except the enemy's balls. We are going to twist his balls and kick the living shit out of him all of the time. Our basic plan of operation is to advance and to keep on advancing regardless of whether we have to go over, under, or through the enemy. We are going to go through him like crap through a goose; like shit through a tin horn!""From time to time there will be some complaints that we are pushing our people too hard. I don't give a good Goddamn about such complaints. I believe in the old and sound rule that an ounce of sweat will save a gallon of blood. The harder WE push, the more Germans we will kill. The more Germans we kill, the fewer of our men will be killed. Pushing means fewer casualties. I want you all to remember that."The General paused. His eagle like eyes swept over the hillside. He said with pride, "There is one great thing that you men will all be able to say after this war is over and you are home once again. You may be thankful that twenty years from now when you are sitting by the fireplace with your grandson on your knee and he asks you what you did in the great World War II, you WON'T have to cough, shift him to the other knee and say, "Well, your Granddaddy shoveled shit in Louisiana." No, Sir, you can look him straight in the eye and say, "Son, your Granddaddy rode with the Great Third Army and a Son-of-a-Goddamned-Bitch named Georgie Patton!"最近有些小道消息,说我们美国人对这次战争想置身事外,缺乏斗志。
General Patton was a legendary and controversial character in the age of Word War II. Several days ago our classes have watched a movie about general Patton in Word War II. Here I feel honored to have a chance to do my presentation about this movie. In 1943, the confederate armies of U.S and U.K in the battlefield of north Africa had been faced with a retort led by the German general Rommel who had a nickname called the “Desert Fox”. Both sides started a fierce battle, however, the consequence was a miserable failure for the confederate armies. In order to modify this situation of warfare, the authority of U.S intended to appoint talent Gorge Patton to be the commander of second special military forces. 50 as Patton was, he was aspiring and ambitious. As soon as Patton got this position, he started to neaten the military discipline immediately. After his severe measures and toilsome training, his forces became to be good at fighting and aggressive. Before long, general Patton led his army to start a fierce battle with Rommel, and they got a marvelous success. Patton decide to continue his charge and he finally drive the rest of German forces away from the battlefield of north Africa. After the triumph in north Africa, Patton was sent to command the 7th corps. He planned to land on the south coast of Sicanian to assault Palermo. However, his project was opposed by British general Montgomery. Eisenhower adopted British project for the sake of maintaining the relationship bewteen U.S and U.K. So Patton was quite angry, but he had to obey since he was an armyman. In July, 1943, the confederate armies decide to conqure Italy. So as to contest the feat of warfare. Patton determined to continue charging Kemosion. However his army was stopped by Germany’s aggressive army, and on account of the late military resources, plenty of soldiers died in this battle. So Patton had to inspect the condition in the battlefront. When Patton was in a military hospital, he slapped a very tired and scared soldier. This behavior of Patton do shock many people, but soldiers also had to observe his order. Finally, they got Kemosion with a miserable payment.Although Patton had a reputable name of bloody guts general, his severe conducts of beating soldiers brought about a widespread dissatisfaction. So Eisenhower had to require Patton to apoloize to the mass. After Germany surrendered, in a party of celebarting the triumph, Patton regard Russian indifferently and even look forward to fighting with Russia, because as far as he is concrened the U.S should not be coward in front of Russia. General Eisenhower was rather offended, so he decided to dismiss Patton from his position. And this meant the end of Patton’s career of military. From this movie we know the director just wanna discribe the lengendary expericen of general Patton in World War II. So as to show Patton’s life only belongs to war, and when the war come to an end, his life will have no meaning. In peaceful times, Patton’s cause and dream is just a tragedy, which is similar with knight Quixote. Generally speaking, Patton was created by that martial time, includes his feats and dreams.。
Be seated.Men, all this stuff you hear about America not wanting to fight, wanting to stay out of the war, is a lot of bullshit. Americans love to fight. You won't have to cough and say, 'Well, your granddaddy shoveled shit in Louisiana.' In fact, the highest duty and right of the citizen is to take up arms to defend the motherland.6、我一生中最大的悲哀就是从最后一场战争中幸存下来,在那次战争中战死沙场一直是我计划中的事,我真是应该在快结束的时候死掉,但是一个人总不能跑去自杀吧!The greatest sorrow of my life is to survive the last war, in which the battlefield was always my plan. I really should die at the end of the war, but one can never run to suicide!7、我们正规军是本着冒险的精神和真正的愿望为国效力的,对他们来说津贴是次要的。
温斯顿丘吉尔英语作文Winston Churchill was a remarkable figure in the annals of history, a man whose impact on the world cannot be overstated. Born in 1874 to a prominent British family, he rose to become one of the most influential leaders of the 20th century, guiding Britain through the tumultuous years of World War II and leaving an indelible mark on the course of world events.Churchill's early life was marked by a privileged upbringing and a strong sense of duty to his country. He attended the prestigious Harrow School and later served in the British Army, where he gained valuable experience and honed his leadership skills. It was during his military service that he began to develop his keen interest in politics, a passion that would eventually lead him to the highest echelons of power. As a young politician, Churchill quickly established himself as a formidable force, known for his oratory skills, his unwavering determination, and his unwavering commitment to the British Empire. He held a number of important positions in government, including First Lord of the Admiralty and Home Secretary, before being appointed Prime Minister in 1940, at the height of World War II.It was during his tenure as Prime Minister that Churchill's true greatness was put to the test. With the Nazi forces sweeping across Europe and threatening to invade Britain, Churchill rallied the nation with his stirring speeches and his unwavering resolve. He refused to surrender, even in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds, and instead led the country in a desperate fight for survival.Churchill's leadership during the war was nothing short of heroic. He worked tirelessly to coordinate the Allied war effort, forging crucial alliances with the United States and the Soviet Union, and ensuring that Britain remained a formidable force on the global stage. His speeches, which were broadcast to the nation and the world, became rallying cries for freedom and democracy, inspiring millions with their eloquence and their unwavering determination. But Churchill's impact extended far beyond the battlefield. He was also a prolific writer and historian, authoring numerous books and articles on a wide range of topics, from military strategy to political philosophy. His magnum opus, "The Second World War," is widely regarded as one of the most comprehensive and authoritative accounts of the conflict, and has become a standard reference for scholars and students alike.Throughout his life, Churchill remained a staunch defender of theBritish Empire and a champion of democracy and freedom. He was a man of towering intellect and boundless energy, who never shied away from a challenge and who always sought to leave the world a better place than he found it.Even after his retirement from politics, Churchill continued to be a prominent figure on the world stage, lending his voice and his influence to a variety of causes and initiatives. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1953, in recognition of his contributions to the written word, and was honored with a state funeral upon his death in 1965, a testament to the immense respect and admiration he had earned from people around the world.Today, Winston Churchill is remembered as one of the greatest leaders in modern history, a man whose vision, courage, and determination helped to shape the course of the 20th century. His legacy lives on, inspiring generations of leaders and citizens to strive for a better world, and to never give up in the face of adversity. He was a true giant among men, and his impact on the world will continue to be felt for generations to come.。

革命家的英文演讲稿Ladies and gentlemen, 。
Today, I stand before you as a revolutionary, a fighter for freedom and justice. Throughout history, the world has seen the rise and fall of many great leaders, but it is the revolutionaries who have truly shaped the course of human history. From Gandhi to Martin Luther King Jr., from Nelson Mandela to Che Guevara, the voices of revolutionaries have echoed through the ages, inspiring change and challenging the status quo.As a revolutionary, I am driven by a deep sense of purpose and a burning desire to see a better world. I believe that every individual has the power to make a difference, to stand up against oppression and injustice, and to fight for a future where all people are treated with dignity and respect. This belief is what drives me to speak out, to take action, and to lead others in the struggle for a better tomorrow. The path of a revolutionary is not an easy one. It is filled with obstacles, challenges, and sacrifices. But it is also a path filled with hope, courage, and the potential for real, lasting change. It is a path that requires unwavering commitment, unyielding determination, and a willingness to stand up for what is right, even in the face of overwhelming opposition. As a revolutionary, I am often asked what it is that drives me, what motivates me to keep fighting in the face of adversity. The answer is simple: it is the belief that every person has the right to live in a world free from oppression, discrimination, and fear. It is the belief that every voice deserves to be heard, every life deserves to be valued, and every dream deserves to be pursued. In closing, I want to leave you with a quote from one of history's greatest revolutionaries, Che Guevara: "The true revolutionary is guided by a great feeling of love. It is impossible to think of a genuine revolutionary lacking this quality." Let us all beguided by love, by compassion, and by a burning desire to see a better world. Let us stand together as revolutionaries, united in our quest for freedom, justice, and equality for all.Thank you.。

However, he was latergiven command of the U.S. Third Army and ably led it in breaking out of the hedgerows of Normandy and across France.

"BLOOD, SWEAT AND TEARS"Winston Churchill (May 13, 1940 ) On Friday evening last I received from His Majesty the mission to form a new administration. It was the evident will of Parliament and the nation that this should be conceived on the broadest possible basis and that it should include all parties.I have already completed the most important part of this task. A war cabinet has been formed of five members, representing, with the Labor, Opposition and Liberals, the unity of the nation. It was necessary that this should be done in one single day on account of the extreme urgency and rigor of events. Other key positions were filled yesterday. I am submitting a further list to the King tonight. I hope to complete the appointment of principal Ministers during tomorrow. The appointment of other Ministers usually takes a little longer. I trust when Parliament meets again this part of my task will be completed and that the administration will be complete in all respects.I considered it in the public interest to suggest to the Speaker that the House should be summoned today. At the end of today's proceedings, the adjournment of the House will be proposed until May 2l with provision for earlier meeting if need be. Business for that will be notified to M. P. 's at the earliest opportunity.I now invite the House by a resolution to record its approval of the steps taken and declare its confidence in the new government. The resolution:"That this House welcomes the formation of a government representing the united and inflexible resolve of the nation to prosecute the war with Germany to a victorious conclusion."To form an administration of this scale and complexity is a serious undertaking in itself. But we are in the preliminary Phase of one of the greatest battles in history. We are in action at any other points-in Norway and in Holland-and we have to be prepared in the Mediterranean. The air battle is continuing, and many preparations have to be made here at home.In this crisis I think I may be pardoned if I do not address the House at any length today, and I hope that any of my friends and colleagues or for mer colleagues who are affected by the political reconstruction will make all allowances for any lack of ceremony with which it has been necessary to act.I say to the House as I said to Ministers who have joined this government, I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat. We have before us an ordeal of the most grievous kind. We have before us many, many months of struggle and suffering. You ask, what is our policy? I say it is to wage war by land, sea and air. War with all our might and with all the strength God has given us, and to wage war against a monstrous tyranny never surpassed in the dark and lamentable catalogue of human crime. That is our policy. You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word, It is victory. Victory at all costs-victory in spite of all terrors-victory, however long and hard the road may be, for without victory there is no survival.Let that be realized. No survival for the British Empire, no survival for all that the British Empire has stood for, no survival for the urge, the impulse of the ages, that mankind shall move forward toward his goal.I take up my task in buoyancy and hope. I feel sure that our cause will not be suffered to fail among men.I feel entitled at this juncture, at this time, to claim the aid of all and to say, "Come then, let us go forward together with our united strength."。
Ladies and Gentlemen,As we stand on this hallowed ground, surrounded by the echoes of history, it is with profound respect and a deep sense of purpose that I address you today. We gather not just to remember, but to honor the legacy ofthe Greatest Generation—a generation that faced the darkest hour of human history and emerged not only victorious but also as a beacon of hope for the world. The clouds of war hung heavy over Europe and Asia, casting a shadow of uncertainty and despair upon the innocent. Yet, in the face of this existential threat, America stepped forward with a resolve that would define our nation and the course of history. Today, I stand before youto invoke that same spirit, to call upon the unwavering spirit of America that led us through the trials of World War II.Let us remember the words of President Franklin D. Roosevelt, who on December 29, 1941, addressed the nation in a speech that would resonate through the ages:"We have nothing to fear but fear itself—nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreatinto advance."In those fateful days, fear was indeed a formidable foe. But it was not fear that drove us to battle. It was the unyielding determination to protect our freedoms, our families, and our way of life. It was the courage to face the unknown, to step into the abyss, and to emerge stronger than before. The story of America in World War II is a testament to the power of the human spirit. It is a story of ordinary men and women who rose to extraordinary heights, bound together by a common cause and a shared destiny.Consider the young soldiers who left their homes and families, theirlives and their dreams, to fight for a cause greater than themselves. They braved the cold of the Aleutians, the jungles of the Pacific, and the sands of North Africa. They faced enemy fire, starvation, anddisease, yet they never wavered. Their sacrifice and bravery are etched into the annals of history, a testament to the enduring strength of the American spirit. But the story of World War II is not just about the soldiers. It is also about the families left behind. The mothers and fathers, the sisters and brothers, who worried and prayed for their loved ones at the front. The children who grew up without their parents, who learned to live with the fear of loss. These silent heroes, whose strength and resilience were just as vital to the war effort, remind us that victory is not measured solely in terms of military success. In the face of such adversity, America's resolve was unbreakable. We banded together, each contributing our part to the war effort. Factories turned into assembly lines, producing the weapons and equipment needed to defeat the Axis powers. Citizens took to the home front, rationing food and goods, and working tirelessly to support the war effort. The entire nation was mobilized, united in a common purpose. The technological innovations of the war era were nothing short of miraculous. From the development of radar and sonar to the creation of the atomic bomb, America's ingenuity and resourcefulness played apivotal role in our ultimate victory. These advancements did not just change the course of the war; they laid the foundation for the technological revolution that would define the 20th century and beyond. But let us not forget the moral courage that guided us through those dark times. America stood as a beacon of freedom and democracy, a light in the darkness. Our leaders, like President Roosevelt, Prime Minister Winston Churchill, and Premier Joseph Stalin, were united in their commitment to defeat tyranny and restore peace. Their words and actions inspired millions, giving them hope in the face of despair.Today, as we reflect on the sacrifices of those who fought and those who supported them, we must also consider the lessons we have learned. The Greatest Generation taught us that courage is not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. They showed us that unity and perseverance canovercome the greatest challenges. And they reminded us that the power of love and hope can overcome even the darkest times. As we stand on the cusp of a new era, with our own set of challenges and uncertainties, we must draw upon the spirit of those who came before us. The unwavering resolve that led America to victory in World War II is still within us. It is the same spirit that brought us through the Great Depression, that allowed us to land on the moon, and that has driven us to innovate and lead in every field of human endeavor. So let us not be daunted by the complexities of our time. Let us not be consumed by fear. Instead, let us embrace the spirit of America, the spirit of the Greatest Generation. Let us be bold, let us be courageous, let us be united in our pursuit of a better world. As we move forward, let us remember that the legacy of World War II is not just a story of past triumphs. It is a call to action, a reminder that we have the power to shape our destiny. It is a call to be the stewards of our values, the protectors of our freedoms, and the architects of a future that is bright and full of promise.Ladies and Gentlemen, let us honor the memory of those who fought and died for our country. Let us live up to the standards they set, the example they gave. Let us carry the torch of their sacrifice, and let it guide us as we continue to write the story of America.Thank you. God bless America. And may God bless us all.。

Oh, I will be proud to lead you wonderful guys
into battle anytime,
anywhere.
That's all.。
