阅读下面的文字，完成1～3题。

国内有一些批评家把“现代性”作为一个标尺，以衡量当前中国产生的艺术现象，认为凡是接近西方现代主义艺术的形态都具有现代性，否则与现代性无缘。

我们怎样理解“现代性”这个概念？要不要根据我们的认识赋予它某些新的内容？既然我们正在建设现代社会和走现代化的道路，我们就无法回避现代性的问题。只是必须明确中国需要的是什么样的现代性。我们不能照搬西方现代性的标准，“现代性”是与现代社会物质环境相适应的一种精神追求，一种艺术的审美追求。对各民族来说，它既有共同的一面，也有差异的一面，没有什么统一的国际标准。

我们在研究各国对社会和文化艺术“现代性”有关认识的同时，必须从中国的实际情况出发，阐发现代性的理论。除了作为推动现代性产生的客观环境和给个人提供充足的自由创造精神外，还必须考虑：中国的文化背景，20世纪中国走过的道路，中国社会的现实状况。

一部20世纪的中国画史，基本上贯穿着传统派与中西融合派之间的争论，且两派都取得了丰硕的成果。如坚持传统路线的吴昌硕、齐白石、黄宾虹、潘天寿和坚持以西润中路线的融合派大师徐悲鸿、蒋兆和等，都在自己的创作中展现出独特的民族气派。至于稍后出现的“前卫艺术”，在其开始阶段很大程度上是出自对西方现代主义艺术观念和样式的模仿，表面上看它很有“现代意识”，很有“现代性”，但是在精神气质上却距离中国现实很远。这种“前卫艺术”只有扎根于中国土壤，反映中国当代人的感情，适当吸收本土营养，方能有真正的“现代性”。

20世纪中国艺术的发展充分说明，艺术中的现代性并不等于只追求形式的变化，只追求表现语言的新，也不意味着要抛弃传统，抛弃艺术中那些珍贵的恒定性因素——如属于内容范畴的人性、爱、和谐等，属于形式范畴的经过历史冶炼的表现语言。新，关键在于要求作品有时代的感觉和气度，有新的意义。
