The human race has entered a completely new stage in its history, with the development of
technology and the increasingly rapid economic globalization and urbanization, more and more
problems are brought to our attention.And do not say pollution and population, there is a big
hidden danger − the lack of belief. As to the recent years of the lack of belief , I have made a
interview about it. Mr. Xie is a old party member, it is obviously that his belief is the
Communist Party, but there are some of out of our expectation consequents after I've made the
interview.
In the ordinary people's mind, there should be only one belief in one's heart, but Mr. Xie said:"I
don't agree with that idea, take me as an example, I have two believes − the Communist Party

CHINESE companies have started to win first place in global markets. Huawei has just
overtaken Sweden’s Ericsson to become the world’s largest telecoms-equipment-maker.
Even though many foreigners still cannot pronounce its name (some call it “Hawaii”, and
the firm has even produced a video teaching people to say hwah-way), Huawei is
becoming an increasingly powerful global player, capable of going head-to-head with the
best in intensely competitive markets. It follows Haier, which is already the leading
white-goods-maker; now Lenovo is challenging Hewlett-Packard as the world’s biggest
PC-maker. Plenty more will follow .

Title: On Linguistic Features of Financial Coverage in
English News Publications
Abstract: Based on first-hand examples characteristic of journalistic style, this，paper probes into the seven major linguistic features of financial coverage in English
news publication. It adopts the view that the language used in financial news, whose
primary function is to inform, is supposed to be specific, accurate and concise.
Though sharing the common features of journalistic English in terms of writing style,
financial coverage stands out for its own uniqueness.

强化英语学习者阅读英美１１ｌＴｇ硇效果

［摘要］本文探讨了通过阅读实验，强化英语学习者阅读英美报刊的效果，包括阅读英美报刊对英语学习者的英语学习的影响，以
及对阅读英美报刊的态度变化。项目组通过前期问卷，调查到英语学习者普遍没有阅读英美报刊的习惯、缺乏阅读兴趣这一现状
据此，项目组开展阅读实验，探究阅读英美报刊的效果以及现状的改进方法。实验组和对照组阅读水平的变化通过前期测试和后期
测试中收集的资料进行数据分析，并辅之以访谈，调查学生阅读英美报刊的态度变化。实验结果表明，阅读英美报－７１】对英语学习者
的英语语言的学习有明显的促进作用，学生对阅读英美报刊的态度更加积极。

报刊阅读是国际上流行的英语学习方式之一，报刊教学在西方国
家始于１９５５年，把报纸引入课堂对学生进行综合性的素质教育，可以
弥补学校传统知识课程教学单一的弊端，国际上将其称之为“报纸参与
教育”工程。这一工程发源于美国，现在世界各地广泛推广Ｉｌｌ。目前全
国很多高校都开设英美报刊阅读方面的课程，但是学生由于获取原版
英文报刊的途径较少、兴趣不浓厚、缺乏时间等原因，除课堂所读英文
报刊之外，几乎没有课下阅读英文报刊的习惯，导致课程的教学没有培
养起学生阅读英美报刊的兴趣和习惯。所以，大多数英语学习者惯常
忽略阅读英美报刊这一非常有效的学习方法的现状令人担忧，我们迫
切需要找到提高学生阅读英美报刊兴趣和养成自主阅读英美报刊习惯
的方法，使广大英语学习者充分利用阅读英美报刊学习英语的学习方
法，提高学习效果和学习水平。基于此现状，项目组开展了关于英语学
习者阅读英语报刊效果的调研与研究，旨在研究阅读英语报刊对英语
学习者学习英语，包括阅读、写作、听力、口语等方面所产生的具体影
响，以及培养英语学习者阅读英语报刊习惯的方法，并将其反馈于教师
和广大英语学习者，辅助教学，提高英语学习者的学习效率，并在一定
