Unit4 Learning about Language长难句型精析although引导让步状语从句的用法归纳拓展:1. as也可以表示“尽管”,引导让步状语从句,但此时要用倒装语序,其结构是“名词/形容词/副词/动词+as+句子其他成分”。
此结构中,当名词为可数名词单数时,前边不加冠词。
2. 当though、although或while引导状语从句时,不可以同时用but。
但是可以和yet或still连用。
教材原文Although its origin may still be a puzzle, the moon can never be anything more than a satellite of the earth.尽管它的起源可能依旧是个不解之谜,但月球不过是地球的一个卫星。

注意:in spite o£/despite 表示“尽管”时和though/although 的区别:in spite of/despite是介词,后面接名词(短语),though/although是连词,后面接从句。
