Last summer we drove down the coast to Florida and I got to swim in the ocean, make sand castles on the beach, and go on airboat rides looking for alligators in the Everglades. It was such an adventure! This year, I'm hoping we'll get to go somewhere out west like the Grand Canyon or Yellowstone National Park with the famous geysers.Now I'll share one last fun fact about myself - I'm an only child, but I do have an "aunt" who is more like a sister to me. Her name is Sierra and she's my mom's best friend from college. We're only 7 years apart in age so we've always been like siblings. Sierra helped raise me as a baby when my parents were working, and now as I'm older, she's like the cool aunt I can confide anything in. She was the one who first encouraged me to enter this speech competition since she knows how much I love public speaking and performing.
