join意为“参加(某种组织)”，其延续性动词用be a member of 或be in。

要区别于take part in(指参加某项活动)。

如：join the Party/the army/a club/the national basketball team入党/参军/参加一个俱乐部/参加国家篮球队take part in the party/the competition(game, race)参加聚会/比赛(游戏，赛跑)2．You were all so full of energy and thirsty for knowledge.你们都那么精力充沛，渴望知识。

be full of＝be filled with，意为“装满的；盛满的”。

be proud of＝take pride in，两者都是“以……为骄傲”的意思，既可接人，也可接物，但有区别。

(1)be proud of中proud是形容词，与be动词构成系表结构。
