say it in English

speak“说”后面直接加语言或演讲

speak Chinese 说汉语speak at the meeting在会上发言

talk“谈论/交谈”

talk with/to sb 和...谈话 talk about sth 讨论.

tell“告诉，讲述”

tell a story 讲故事 tell a lie 说谎

tell sb sth=tell sth to sb 告诉某人某事

tell sb (not) to do 告诉某人(不)去做某事

时间的表示方法

1.顺时针法时针+分针

(1)整点时，后面加o'clock

8:00 eight o'clock 10:00 ten o'clock

(2)如果所表示的分钟≤30分时，可以用“分钟+past+小时”

15分用a quarter表示 30分用half表示

6:10 ten past six 7:15 a quarter past seven

4:20 twenty past four 10:30 half past ten

(an hour一个小时 half an hour 半小时

three hours and a half=three and a half hours三个半小时)

(3)如果所表述的分针>30分，用60分钟+to+小时+1

10:35 twentyfive to eleven 11:45 a quarter to twelve
