提到课外作业,一部分小学生都有反感的情绪;一提检查课外作业,大部分老师都有头疼的感觉,因为总有应付作业的情况,总有完不成作业的学生。
小学生贪玩好动,在学校里学习了一天,课外时间,他们渴望能放松一下,如果老师再布置单调的听、读、写的英语作业肯定会有偷、漏作业的情况。
如果改变一下布置作业的方法,让学生觉得做英语课外作业很有趣,情况就好多了。
在教学实践中,我尝试了以下几种方法。
一、“抄写”类作业1.让学生自己挑选喜欢抄写的单词和-句子。
这方面的抄写作业都是学生以前学过的单词和句子。
我一般在布置作业时都会给学生一个具体作业范围,如作业的范围是第一单元的单词和句子。
要求学生挑选自己喜欢的5个单词和2个句子,各抄3遍;第二次布置作业时范围同样也是第一单元的单词和句子,同样要求学生挑选自己喜欢的5个单词和2个句子抄写,但这次不能与第一次抄的单词和句子重复;以此类推,直到第一单元所有单词和句子抄完。
2.让学生提前介入对陌生单词及句子的抄写。
这方面的作业,一是在即将教的书一写课里的单词和句子;二是在生活中发现的单词和句子。
对于即将教的书写课里的单词和句子抄一次。
由于小学生好奇心比较强,他们抄完一次后,对新单词、新句子仍然有浓厚的兴趣,当老师下次教到这些新单词、新句子时,他们对新单词、新句子的领会和掌握程度会更高。
另一方面,我也常让学生把在生活中看到的新单词、新句子记下来,然后自己查资料。
通过这种作业的设计,学生不仅掌握了新的知识,更重要的是他们在这种“自我发现”式的学习中,发现了日常生活处处有英语,由此感受到学习英语的重要性,从而激发了他们学习的欲望。
二、“背诵”类作业在以前,我鄙是让学生根据课上老师的引导、示范和讲解,去记忆生词、理解会话,让学生去掌握。
结果,多数学生不能很好地理解并运用所学知识,而只是在课上固定的语言环境中才能使用。

湘少版五到六年级英语特色作业案例分享五到六年级英语特色作业案例分享我们都知道作业是课堂活动的延伸,是学生独立运用知识的一种重要手段。
作为小学英语教师,我认为在设计作业时要做到有趣味性、实用性、创造性,这样不但能使语言学以致用,培养学生的创新能力,并且能使学生走出课本、走进生活,有利于学生素质的全面发展。
因此在布置作业时,我尽量使英语作业生活化,改变以往让学生抄写单词、课文等单调机械性的作业形式,设法让学生们愿意去做,主动去做,而不是被动地把它当成作业来完成,要让他们对英语作业产生兴趣。

1、在教湘少版五年级Unit 12 The Spring Festival之前,我布置作业让学生回家提前搜集有农历新年的资料,包括:人们在国内是如何庆祝春节的;国外的华人们是如何度过春节的。
在学完这篇课文后,同学们不仅对春节的内涵很感兴趣。
我还让同学们通过课文来简单复述春节的习俗,然后让同学们自我操练,并且在台上表演。
满怀激情的学生运用自己的智慧制作了图文并茂的春节卡片,在图画下面简单地写上春节的习俗以及自己对新的一年的祝福,学生们在不知不觉中学会了课文内容,提高了绘画水平,而且也懂得了要珍视中国的传统节日。
2、在教五年级下册Unit 6 I will make a beautiful card时,在课堂上,我给同学们观看了一些有关母亲节来源以及表达对母亲感激之情的图片。
在幻灯片一开始,我先给同学们碗quick reiponse的游戏,迅速说出之前学过的短语:make the bed, cook a meal, wash the vegetable, clean the floor......然后我话锋一转,问道:“Who do these things most at home?在家里谁做这些事情做得最多呢?”大部分同学都会说道:“It’s my mother.”之后,我才引入主题:What will you do for your mother on Mother’s Day?让同学们在学习A课文中进行思考。
