摘要：纽约中央公园（CentralPark，NewYork）被成为纽约的后花园，是由1856年Frederick
LawOlmsted和CalbertVaux两位风景园林设计师建成了此公园。中央公园坐落在摩天大楼
耸立的曼哈顿正中，占地843英亩（约5000多亩），公园在欧洲如火如荼的自然风景园运动
下成形，加快了纽约乃至美国城市化的进程，也成为了美国城市公园发展史上的一座里程碑。

纽约中央公园（CentralPark，NewYork）诞生于19世纪50年代，是美国第一个真正
意义上的现代大型城市公园，迄今为止已有150余年的辉煌历史。因其创新的设计理念和方
法，纽约中央公园自创建以来便一直被尊为现代公共空间的典范。纽约中央公园（Central
Park，NewYork）是美国第一个真正意义上的大型城市公园，也是第一个“人民公园”。在
纽约中央公园附近，坐落着美国民间艺术博物馆、大都会博物馆、现代艺术博物馆、国家歌
剧院、林肯表演艺术中心、卡内基大厅等享誉世界的建筑，这些都给中央公园以及纽约平添
了不少文化气息和艺术内涵。正因为如此有着纽约“后花园”之称和享有“镶嵌在纽约皇冠
