Unit 8 When is your birthday? Section B 2a-3b教学设计教学内容分析：本课是新目标英语七年级上册第8单元，教材以“谈论日期”为中心话题，学习日期的询问与表达，询问并回答生日，正确使用when引导的特殊疑问句，进而学习活动的日期安排，合理安排自己的日程。

本节课是Section B 2a-3b部分，本课教学内容从阅读一篇学校活动安排的通知，到尝试撰写自己的活动安排，同时邀请他人参加某项活动，本课时的学习内容非常贴近学生的学习生活。

本节课属于阅读写作课，是语言输入和输出的重要环节。

学生情况分析：（1）七年级学生求知欲望和表现欲望都很强，乐于发表的看法，有利于课堂任务的完成。

（2）七年级的学生经过三个多月对新目标教材任务性学习法的了解，初步掌握了一些如何开展结对活动和小组活动的方法，初步进行了阅读训练和简单的单句、段落的写作训练。

（3）学生已经通过Section A的学习掌握了日期的表达，具备流利朗读课文，初步理解课文内容的能力，能进行简单地交际。

教学目标分析：在本节课结束时，学生能够达到以下目标：知识与能力：1. 掌握本部分词汇和常见的学校活动的表达方式，并能熟练询问其日期。

Section B 1 (1a-2c)一、单元教材分析本单元主要学习日期的表达方式。

本单元主要围绕“谈论日期”这一话题开展听、说、读和写的学习活动，学习序数词的构成以及运用序数词表示日期的方法；学会运用when 引导的特殊疑问句询问日期；通过学习能掌握英语表达年、月、日的单词和句型，能够熟练地谈论各种有关日期的话题。

此外，还要学习名词所有格 ( 's 所有格 ) 的构成和使用；学习询问表达年龄的句型；能够询问及表达一些常见的节日的日期。

二、单元学情分析本单元的主题是询问和谈论日期，围绕这一主题进行一系列的交际活动，使学生掌握日期的表达法，正确使用when 引导的特殊疑问句对日期进行询问。

在学习日期的表达法时要先学习序数词的构成，学生在以前的课程里已经学习了基数词，对于两种数词之间的区别一定会令学生感到头痛，要引导学生运用对比的方法，找出构成规律，总结特殊变化，通过歌谣强化记忆。

2.采用Classifying 和Role—playing 的学习策略，利用幻灯片、制作课件( 反映课内外活动) 等来展开课堂教学、Pairwork 问答式的口语交际活动小组活动，复习、巩固“询问和谈论日期”的目标语言。

3. 情感态度价值观目标：本课时的学习内容为安排课内外的一些组织活动，非常贴近学生的学习生活。

通过互相询问课内外活动的安排日程，不仅可以增进同学之间的了解和友情，而且还能学会合理地安排自己的作息时间，养成有规律地生活、学习的好习惯。
